First of all which is better for home defense, a 10 gauge or a 12 gauge? Second, what type would you recommend? Some people that I talked to recommended the mossberg 500. How about a saiga 12? Would you recommend one of those?

I want to use shotguns to take up sport shooting e.g. clay pigeons. I can join a shooting club, I’m 15 and I’ll be 16 soon and Im from NORTHERN IRELAND so a UK Shotgun Cert doesn’t apply to me I as I need a NI Firearms Cert. When can I get one? What special stuff do I need? Can anyone break it down for me? Thanks.
It is not a wingmaster and it is way older than 1971. By the way, I’m a 41 yr old male who has done some research on this gun. I haven’t been able to figure out if it is a model 10 or 31.
The research I have done on this gun tells me that it is a 1927 and either a model 10 or 31. I am a 41 yr old male who enjoys guns. This gun is in good to fair condition.

What is the effective range of a shotgun shell (00 buck, slug, etc…?)
Is a shotgun blast deadlier than a rifle blast?
I am looking for a shotgun that can do everything. I am willing to spend some money. But in doing this i want a shotgun not just for one specific thing. Is there a shotgun that i can duck hunt with, turkey hunt with, dove hunt, go goose hunting with and maybe even deer. Basically i want a shotgun that can hunt anything i want to. I am lookin at the Berretta Xtrema 2… any other suggestions?
my friend uses atlanta and usually throws the long ball using shotgun w/ 5wr and runs it with dunn and vick, so i need a good defense to stop him and yeah a good offense as well where i can scramble if needed to, so any help? as of late ive been using eagles and been losing to him by a touchdown everytime, is there a better team to use?

I have been looking at mossberg 835 ultra-mag tactical turkey shotgun, and i don’t want to just only shoot turkey loads out of it, i would like to be able to hunt deer, partridge, and or waterfowl, but i don’t know if i can shoot any other type of ammo out of it, i know you cant shoot a slug threw it while the choke is in it but im not sure if you can shoot another type of ammo out of it.
not the ones that shoot only 3 bbs at a time but more not including cocking the gun more than once
