I’m not ready to buy a shotgun yet since I just started shooting and I’m still working on mastering my 22LR, but I’m just wondering….

I own a 2010 Benelli 49x 2 stroke. I bought the scooter and it was restricted using a smaller jet in the carburettor and a long piece of exhaust. The scooter came with the larger jet and smaller exhaust which I have fitted correctly. Before derestriction the scooters top speed was 32mph and 40 down a large hill. It is now 38 on the flat and 42 down any sized hill (within reason). The speedo goes up to 50mph so I was expecting 45 mph when derestricted. If anyone tell me how to increase the speed further that would be great. Note: I do not want to change any parts e.g big bore kits, racing crankshafts, chain+sprockets etc.

I am now debating over a Mossberg Model 500 Field 20ga 3" 28" Accu-Choke a 20ga Browning Pump Shotgun invector plus (BPS) and a 20ga Remington 870 Super Magnum (870). They are both within 50 dollars of each other only diff is 870 and the mossberg are brand new. Which gun would be better quality and last longer.

How many are there? What do you do in each? How old do you have to be to join in a shotgun shooting competition?

If I’m on my own private land and I’m trap shooting, do I need to have the plug in my shotgun?

I was looking into buying a shotgun for duck and quail hunting this season. I am a left handed shooter but have been shooting a right handed gun. The ejection does not bother me but the safety has been an issue so I would like to find something with a thumb safety. I am looking to spend around 0.
Yeah. I guess I forgot to add that I want a semi-auto. I was thinking a Mossberg 930. I heard the 935 has some ejection issues with lighter shells. Not that I am against a pump action, it’s just not what I am used to.

do you just have to cock it once for the gun to be fully pressurized at 750 fps?

I’m not for sure as to how old it is, but its a pump action 20 guage shotgun. It pumps and shoots like its brand new. The only thing that is wrong with it is that it had a bad shoulder pad on it and i took it off and put a new one on, so it has glue stuck to it.

Who gets your vote?
I’ve never seen the Benelli in person, so I’m not sure about it, but I’m digging it. The Duck is just that, …and I’ve always liked the Speed Triple; it just looks hard, but I’m not too sure about the bug eyes.

Own a Remington 870 express and can’t find a patriotic accessory anywhere online. I know someone else has got to have come across the same issue within the southern states. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I’m trying to decide which is best for my first gun. I want to use it mostly for fun, maybe small game hunting but that’s not that important. Any advice you have helps. Thanks.

I just bought a shotgun, a Mossberg 12 gauge. All I know about guns is very basic–I’m a decent shot and just a notice user, so I know about loading/unloading, a little about cleaning (now that I own my own I need to learn more), etc. All I have shot before is my dad’s old 12 gauge, so I’ve never bought a gun new. This may be a completely stupid question, but all the same I’d appreciate some info from people who know more than I do
I heard something moving back and forth when I lifted the bottom part of the gun (sorry I don’t know the technical terms, but what I mean is the big piece of the gun that’s separate from the barrel) to screw the barrel on. I held it down so the thing would slide forwards, and it’s a small wooden stick thing with two rubber circles on either end–again, it’s not in the barrel, it’s in the tube right below the barrel (magazine tube?). What is this little stick, and does it stay in the gun or not??? Again, sorry if this is a dumb, obvious question, but it’s not obvious to me so I thought I’d ask. Thank you in advance.
Thanks so much guys. I won’t be using mine for hunting either, just for fun shooting and home defense (though hopefully I never have to use it for the latter), so I’ll just take it out. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t removing some crucial piece that would cause it to fire incorrectly. Thanks again!
