Please click on the above link and tell me this, this gun the way it comes, is the choke integrated with the barrel or can i change the choke tubes out? And if i take the choke tube out can i shoot slugs in it? Also what 20ga. load do you recommend for deer.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of a shotgun. Also, I live in Michigan and am over 18. Do i need a hunter’s safety course to be able to get a hunting license?

I got arrested in NJ for drug possession and it got ruled down to a disorderly persons offense. I received PTI. I got my record expunged and I now live in PA with a PA license of course. I want to know for sure 100% that I can buy a shotgun in PA for hunting? My lawyer is a NJ lawyer and he said he was not sure in a other state.

I’m getting in to skeet or clay target shooting and thinking about trying to get in some competitions or something. i currently have a 12guage Remington 870 pump-action shotgun. All the people Ive seen in the competitions have used the over and under shotguns. i was wondering if there’s a regulation as to what type of shotgun is required to be used in the competitions?
Thanks,

which model of the Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun should i get???? i am going to be using it for home defense and hunting(squirrel, coyotes, deer, birds, etc, probably nothing bigger than a deer). also i would like a nice flashlight and/or scope, but idk which model to buy, i was thinking about the tactical, or persuader/cruiser. I don’t want a wood stock or anything, all synthetic.
if you think i should get the wood, why? and if i do could i put accessories on it?
which MODEL should i get???????
could i add a pistol grip to the model A?
does the model a have any other names?

I just turned 18 today (February 28th) and I am going to the gun shop to buy my first shotgun. I have my firearms safety course graduation certificate thats got my address, name, and DOB on it. Do I need picture ID or am I good to go?
I live in Connecticut, and either Cabela’s or Hoffman Guns.
So my firearms safety graduate certificate isn’t enough then. Thank you all for your answers.

What are the differences between the Benelli M2 and the Benelli M2 American? Are the essentially the same gun (internal mechanisms and features as well as exterior design and feel)?

my friend told me that and i don’t believe it. How come you can buy a shotgun that can blow an arm off when you turn 18, but you can buy a pistol when you turn 21.

I am looking for a shotgun I can use to shoot clay pigeons. I have an 18 inch 20 gauge Mossberg. I haven’t used that for clay pigeons yet. I have shot a 28 inch barrel shotgun and hit most of the pigeons. My arms got really tired after a little bit. Anyways.. the 18 inch won’t be as accurate right? So what’s a good one?

Hey just asking you guys if one-hand pumping a Remington 870 or any shotgun for that matter will cause harm or damage to it.
In case you don’t know what I mean, its when you grab the pump with your right hand (or whichever handed you are) and that’s your only grip on the gun, then move your arm down really quickly to pump the gun.

What would they be?
I would take a pump action, probably mossberg or benelli
Ar-15
kimber 1911
The 1911 has stopping power for conceal carry or home defense
The ar-15 is a fun gun
Mossberg 500 is a hunting gun

I’ve decided to get a Remington 870 12 gauge shotgun. My primary purpose for this gun is to hunt deer. For my area I’m required to shoot a shotgun instead of a rifle. I would like to know if it’d be better to get a smooth barrel or a rifled one and the ammunition that be best for that type. Thanks in advance!

I have a Benelli 12g Nova pump with a smooth bore field barrel. Currently im shooting rifled slugs through it. If i buy the rifled choke tube for it should i continue to shoot rifled slugs or switch to sabot slugs. It would seem to me that the rifling of the slugs would not agree with the rifling of the choke tube. All answers are greatly appreciated
