After scoring a touchdown, can a player hand the ball to the ref and celebrate with this imagination?

He hands the ball to the ref, then pretends to use a shotgun and shoot the ref in the face and jump in a getaway car that his teammates are driving to the sideline.

I’m pretty sure that would be penalized.

I’m pretty sure any sort of weapon motion would result in a penalty and possible fine by the league.

Yes, a player and his teammates can do that. They can also be hit with a penalty for excessive celebration. They can also be fined and thrown in jail by Roger Goodell if they are NFL players.

Is this what they’re teaching kids in middle school these days?

Wes Welker was fined $50,000 for making a snow angel. If anyone ever did what you suggest, they would be suspended for several games and fined many times what Welker paid.
