ok so im loking for a cheap$ 20- shotgun for my friends borthday in a couple weeks and airsplat has one and it comes with 4 shells which hold 14 rounds a peice. Now do they all go out in one pump-fire? or is it pump-fire 1 bb-pump-fire 1 bb-so on? heres the link for the gun http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AR-DE-SD87-80C2.htm
and do the shells eject after all the bbs are out of the shell or not? if you don’t know, just send me a link on a good shell ejecting shotgun and tell me how it works-like loading it and the bb thing i just explained. thanks

This shotgun fires one pellet per shot fired and unfortunately you won’t be able to find an airsoft shotgun in your price range that shoots multiple pellets or has a shell ejecting feature. There are some websites which claim the shotguns they sell have a "multi-burst" feature, but the reality is they don’t. Those websites claim you can fire a spread of pellets by pumping the shotgun once for every pellet you want to shoot when you pull the trigger. The reality is that in doing this, you’re just loading a second, third or fourth pellet into the barrel before pulling the trigger. In some cases, you can have a spread of pellets, but the range and pellet velocity is severely limited. It’s basic physics really; for every extra pellet introduced into the barrel, the greatest velocity the pellets can fly at is half of what they were going to fly at before pumping the shotgun again, and even that velocity is probably exaggerated. Also, if you pump too many BB’s into the barrel of the gun, you could jam or destroy the gun’s firing mechanism because it wasn’t meant to fire that much weight.
As for a shotgun that either has the spread of a real shotgun or has a shell ejecting feature, you won’t find much without paying well over a hundred dollars. As far as I know, most shotguns with the shell ejecting feature are going to be gas-powered, and probably more of a collector’s piece than a skirmish piece; in many cases the shell ejection feature detracts from the ability to effectively ‘war’ with the gun because the shells are the magazine, and usually aren’t cheap. In regards to the spread, again, many of the airsoft shotguns out there that have this capability are gas-powered, but not all. The Tokyo Marui Shotguns and a few soon to come clones, each have three inner barrels with individual hop-ups; for every one pull of the trigger, these guns will fire three pellets that arch outwards in a conic shape. The best part is though that they’re spring-powered.
Although it’s still out of your price range, but far cheaper than other airsoft guns with the shell ejecting feature, you might want to look into buying your friend a Super 9 sniper rifle, because that has two types of magazines; it has a twenty-five round stick magazine and a five round rotating magazine that will eject spent shells.
Airsoft Shotguns I know of that have the shell ejecting feature:

As far as the gun you intend to buy, it’s probably a good choice for a birthday gift. I’m pretty sure it’s a recently-released model, but I could be wrong. From what I’ve heard, it’s basically a UTG shotgun with a shell for a magazine instead of an actual magazine. It should serve your friend fairly well, and I’m fairly confident that the shells are compatible with Tokyo Marui Shotgun Shells, which hold 16 more pellets than the 14 of the shell provided with the gun. I am concerned however about one thing, which is almost unrelated to the airsoft gun; buying any airgun for a minor is illegal unless it is the parent or guardian of the individual receiving the gift. That being said, I hope your friend is over eighteen.

I cant answer your first one (how many bbs per shot) but i can tell you the shells mostlikly wont eject if it is a more-than-one bb per shot thing. Just remember, if you want fancy, you need to pay the price. So if the tag is $25 dont expect too much
Sorry i dont know much more on this

It is one shot at a time
however you can pump multiple times and shoot multiple bullets.
the downside to that is that if you pump more than twice your range and velocity is almost nothing unless you are close range.
