i would recommend a stoger condor over under… for about 350 or 450 for the double barrel set. the double barrel comes with a 12 ga. over under and a 20 ga. over under barrel. it is a good shooting gun and never had a problem with it. It isn’t as nice as a $1000 gun but it is a nice gun for a cheap budget

Beretta’s silver pigeon range are highly rated. i wouldn’t call them cheap but if you drop on a second hand one is your price bracket…

It depends on how much you want to spend. I personally think that the Browning Citori is the best bang for the buck as far as shoot ability and price. I personally own 3 of them. They are not the highest and not the cheapest but they are very dependable and very reliable. They can be converted in a number of ways to fit your shooting style. Good luck with your search.

ah, whatever fits your budget will work. they all preform more or less the same anyway. what is there to break in a simple break-action shotgun/rifle anyway?
