The serial number is in the 32,000 range. My grandfather gave it to me. He said his grandfather gave it to him. I dont shoot it – it just hangs proudly above my mantel. Any info on this weapon is appreicated. I also own a .44 magnum super blackhawk ruger w/ A 10 1/2 barrel. I love that gun. It shoots good!

My grandpa has an antique double barrel shotgun (we’re talking really old as there are absolutely no serial numbers or trademarks on any part of the gun). Unfortunately, there was a leak in his attic during a rainstorm and now a large patch of rust has formed on the barrels. Is there any way I can remove this rust without causing irreparable damage to the firearm?

My aunt gave me a double barrel shotgun made by Utica Firearms Co. and the gun has the cocking hammers exposed, its a side by side obviously but sometimes the hammers dont fully strike the firing pins, which would most definatly cause problems when trying to shoot. the gun appears to be really old, but descent in appearence. What could be causing this problem? is it a simple fix that i could do? or should i have my local gunsmith take care of it for me?
Thanks much,
Ryan.

Everything on the gun is in excellent condition, small crack in the stock, and has 2 years of ciggarette smoke on it, How can I remove it safely? Thank you.

Just as it says above. I am in search of a holster for a airsoft sawed off double barrel shotgun, and also if anyone would like to recommend a sawed off shotgun…particularly gas-powered, I welcome it, and would very much appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Is there anyone out there that makes a 10 gauge double barrel shotgun? I’ve been unable to find one. If so, post some links to some info.
Also, What is a good reliable but yet attractive double barrel shotgun (10 or 12)?

shotgun at a target, the two shots will end up different places? Let’s say i’m using a smoothbore double with rifled slugs. I’m assuming both slugs wouldn’t hit on the exact same spot. Is it okay to use rifled slugs in a smoothbore double barrel shotgun in the first place?

did they come in shorter lengths than 2 3/4 I could go to a gunsmith but i want to save the gas. There is no chamber length stamped on the barrel.
