I’m not for sure as to how old it is, but its a pump action 20 guage shotgun. It pumps and shoots like its brand new. The only thing that is wrong with it is that it had a bad shoulder pad on it and i took it off and put a new one on, so it has glue stuck to it.

I think in Texas the legal length of a shotgun barrel is 18", anything under that 18" length is considered sawed-off and illegal unless your a law enforcement officer allowed to have Level 3 weapons. level 3 weapons include sawed-off shotguns, silencers, fully automatic weapons, not just semi-automatic, but fully automatic, grenades etc etc. Can anyone answer this question? thanks

I know the statute says no more than 5 but is that for automatic shotguns? I hate the purposely vague wording of Mass gun laws, they are an invitation to trouble.
"A weapon is large capacity if it is a semi-automatic handgun or rifle that is capable of accepting (or readily modifiable to accept) any detachable large capacity feeding device that holds more than ten rounds, OR if it is a shotgun capable of accepting more than five shotgun shells, OR if it is an assault weapon."

I want to know how to write an equation to find out how far a 20 gauge shotgun will fire a round of bird shot at a 45 degree angle north in direction with a southern wind of 5mph.

I own a Harrington and Richardson model 120 16 gauge shotgun. It’s bolt action, and has a 5 round magazine tube. I live in Ohio, and the shell limit for the mag is 3 for deer hunt. Does anyone know of a magazine plug that would work with it? (I prefer to buy it. I’m not good at making things.) Any help is appreciated.

I’ve never left a shotgun loaded for long, but was wondering if anyone has had the plastic warp or deform.
And how long did it take? Few months, few years?

When I have zeroed in my shotgun from the bench the felt recoil exceeded that of my 30-06. Could a very small person who hunts deer with a 44-40 handle the recoil of slugs in an Ithaca model 37?
Newell, who are you? I didn’t say anything about you? What has this got to do with you? Why are you being so sensitive?

I think a shotgun is an excellent HD gun for a novice or inexperienced shooter, but for someone that practices on a regular basis and is very proficient, wouldn’t a pistol suffice?
By the way, I am far from a novice. Very far.
