I have a 12 gauge shotgun with a 4 round capacity. I was going to go dove hunting but the VA Dept of Natural Resources says if it has a capacity of more than 3 rounds it needs to e plugged with a 1 piece filler.

I heard of a number of people who’ve attempted suicide with a shotgun and survived. Is there a right and wrong way to do it or is it all by chance and if so how likely is it to survive?
I’m not planning on committing suicide. I’m just curious.

Does the sentence “She brings the shotgun down on the hood of the truck” mean that she is going to shoot at the truck? (It is used in the following context: “She sees Jim’s sawed-off shotgun. She picks it up and starts swinging it, breaking whatever she can. The she turns and looks at the Badlands. She brings the shotgun down on the hood of the truck. Jamie comes over, grabs her before she can swing again.”)

Is it possible to create a blank shotgun shell by removing the pellets from the cartridge (shell) and only leaving the empty cartridge with the gunpowder?

A "tactical" shotgun and regular shotgun must have differences. What are the main differences? Barrel length or what? Can you get tactical shotguns with 20+ inch barrels?

If a handgun actually shot 12 gauge shotgun shells, you would have some incredible dispersal. Does anyone make such a gun? If not, then why not?

She weighs about 20 pounds. She is hell-bent on riding shotgun. It makes me really uncomfortable and I am always aware of it while driving. She is not restrained – and probably worse – there is an air bag on that side.
Not only could she bounce all over the place, but, on top of that, an airbag inflating in a zillionth of a second would (I believe) be the end of her.
She never rides on the floor on that side and she goes bananas if I put her in the back seat – not that the back seat is worlds better, anyway. She sits there on the seat looking out of the windows.
I have not searched around on this – I just happened to be here now and saw a thing on pets pop up – so I am asking the question.

Here is the scenario: You have a solid metal door, with a metal frame and it is being locked with a heavy duty lock, not just a flimsy master lock, but similar to that design. You have a 12 gauge shotgun, and can can have any kind of normally available barrel (including sawed off), and any kind of shell (deer slug, buckshot,or whatever). What would be the best combo of shell and barrel to use?
