Does lead ban in CA affect dove and squirrels?

I wonder if the lead ban in CA affects dove and tree squirrel hunting? I’m planning on using a shotgun for both.

It appears to be true for certain parts of the state. You’d better check the rules for the area you’re planning to hunt. Good luck!

Read the regulations, available where you bought your license. If in doubt, check with fish & game. As far as I know (I don’t hunt California) the lead ban means everything, but I’m not sure it is effective, efficient, or needed.
