Will the real steal Remington 870 take a magazine like the airsoft one pictured in the link.

Since there is no link option on here, which is kinda ridiculous just type "maruzen ca870 charger" in google image search and you’lll see what I mean. Thanks.
I know that Remington 870 is not a toy. I was simply wondering if the pictured airsoft replica is realistic, and if a magazine version really existed.

And for those of you that think there’s is no possible way for a tube fed, pump shotgun to take "box magazine." There a couple pump shotguns out there that have both tube and magazine fed version. Such as baikal MP-133 and MP-133k, http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh48-e.htm , I am also pretty sure that during the Vietnam Carroll Childers produced a "Box Magazine" fed shotgun based on the 870, so a "box magazine" fed, pump shotgun is not all really that unreasonable of an idea.

I don’t even need to look at toys to tell that there is no way to "……engineer" a box magazine to a REAL Remington 870 shotgun, no matter how similar it might look like any airsoft fake ‘monkey copy’.

the 870 is a pump, and is tube fed. It is not a toy!

first, no need to your link, just type it in directly and yahoo answers will convert it.

Second, no. The Remington 870 uses a tube magazine. What appears to some people who don’t know firearms as a second barrel is actually a tube that holds the shells. This is the same tube that the pump slides on.

It is the pumping back action that pushes a fresh shell backwards to a ‘loading gate’ then, when the pump is pushed forward, the loading gate flips up which aligns the shell with the barrel, and then the shell is pushed in as the pump continues forward.
