No. Check your local papers, auctions or listings. 200.00 for a double barrel is WAY cheap for any brand. If you find one for that price it’s gonna be a dog or have a body on it.

for $200 you’re probably going to have to go to a pawn shop to get something that cheap. Beretta makes some really nice over-under shotguns, but are a little pricey. Most modern guns are pretty decent. Even if a cheap brand is less accurate…how accurate does a shotgun really need to be? I’d check around a some local pawn shops and see what’s available then do some research on what you find.

I doubt you’ll find any good double new for $200; getting the barrels to shoot to the same point of aim is a bit tougher than it looks, and is the reason for the big price difference between a $150 or less single barrel breakover and a $400 or more double of similar quality from the same maker. The Stoeger doubles are about $400-$500 new around here, and well worth the money if you can find one that is a good fit, or know a good gunfitter who can make it fit you.
Of course, the used market is pretty unpredictable, so watch pawnshops and gun shops. I’ve seen decent doubles in your price range that just looked awful, but were functionally fine, and could be refinished and/or restocked to look as good as new.

very hard to find. A gun show or pawn shop used would be a starting point

YES as long as you buy a good used one.*

Get an old Crescent/Folsom/Stevens/Savage double from gunbroker.com….or your local pawnshop once you know what to look for. They’re a hundred years old in some cases, but they work just like new most times.
Here’s a good one…..

They aren’t rare nor collectible….so you don’t have to feel bad about cutting one down to 19" or refinishing the metal or wood. Perfect home defense system.
