How can I get a pistol grip for my 1968 pump action mossberg 12 gauge shotgun?

September 7th, 2010 by eranio

I have a 1968 Mossberg 12 guage pump action shotgun. I want to get a pistol grip for it. There’s no serial number, which was the case with this year model. Where can I buy one?

If it is a early model 500 a pistol grip may fit as mossberg 500′s have quite a number of accessories to attach on it. If not made by Mossberg possibly made by another company to fit on a mossberg. Said pistol grip could be available for any other current manufacture shotgun also.

toad warned you. And I will add myself in saying also.
It is difficult to hit what you intend to shoot.
And the recoil on the wrist and hand holding the gun will hurt!

A butt stock with a built on pistol grip is more practical.

Dude, don’t do it! Pistol grips on shotguns are a very bad idea. Looks cool on TV but in real world situations they aren’t worth spit. You won’t be able to hit anything and recoil will be an issue. Trust me on this please. I’ve been there…
