How do i register a shotgun or do i have to in washington?

My grandpa gave me a double barrel shotgun and i was wounding how do i register it ( washington not washington DC )

There is no registration requirement in Washington state.

It seems that there’s no need to register any firearm that you own in the state of Washington, but the best and safest idea is to call your local sheriff’s department. They”ll give you the right answer for sure.
