I would guess 5+1

If hunting migratory birds you are only allowed 3 shells total. 2 in the mag and one in the pipe.
With plug out 5+1 in 2 3/4 size.

The 3 shell rule is a Migratory game bird law.
Anyhow, Start loading that shot gun and let us know how many it holds…that way I’ll know my self

Why don’t you buy a box and figure it out yourself? It so much more rewarding than asking (but I give you credit, it is an honest question).
Monkey Fingers: You are indeed wrong. You can have a shotgun with a capacity well over three shells… however you need to limit yourself to the 2+1 when bird hunting (Migratory Bird Law).

Why don’t you poke em in and find out?

I’m not sure, but legally you can’t load more than 3 shells in a shotgun even if you modify it to hold more.
