I’m also going to sell my Lightly used Mossberg 500 5+1 to help pay for it. Or I might just keep it and have two shotguns…
I do not like the remington 870.
I don’t like the saftey and the guns balance feels funny to me.

The price you want is what others are willing to pay…. Sell it for 10% less than what you paid — if it doesnt move then go to 20% off….. If your Mossberg 500 is a Persuader Cruiser model and its in nice shape I would not sell it for less than $240…. Those can be had new in my area for $299 on up…. I would just keep the 500…… Those Mossberg 500′s are excellent shotguns. I Bought a 500 and liked it so much I bought another slightly different model…. You mentioned you dont like the 870? Certain Remington 870′s are actualy quite nice. I dont like there police model shotguns nor do I like there slug guns….. But the Regular Remington 870 Express and the Remington 870 Synthetic 28 inch barrel shotguns are excellent on rabbits, turkeys and plain old regular target shooting….. Give it a thought — theres no reason why you cant own 3 or more shotguns — I do – it keeps me from getting bored…… You should be able to purchase a Mossberg shotgun for about 15 to 20% less than the manufacturers suggested retail price (MSRP) — SEE the below link to the Mossberg price/spec page and you can figure it out for what model you want…
