How much would the first Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun ever made be worth?

December 11th, 2009 by eranio

My dad owns a Mossberg 12 gauge and it’s the very first one they ever made. He hunts with it on a regular bases for rabbits, turkeys, squirrels and occasionally deer. He had it refurnished with a black coat, it was originally silver, like a pistol. How much do you think itwould be worth?
lol i’m not joking

You father’s Mossberg is unlikely the first one they made. I’m sure the Mossberg family would have kept a few of the first for themselves.

If you father has a well-used shotgun that has been refinished in a finish other than original, it’s likely not worth more than $150.
