It’s a Westley Richards, considered to be a fine shotgun.
You ought to go to your local bookstore and in the Hobbies section locate a "Big Blue Book of Gun Values"(or any similar publication), and look up Westley Richards Shotguns.
They’ll have some good info there for you.

Most likely made in England. Don’t know how old but you can find out with a little research on the internet.http://www.wrichardsguns.co.uk/history.htm

Westly Richards is usualy spelled out on the fine London made shotguns (verry high quality) sadly if it is stamped W. Richards it may be Belgian made and of lesser value. Check the bottum of the barells near the breach for a makers mark . Westly Richards is still in buisines and
can be found on the web.
    I have a W Richards Belgium , the makers mark is a circle with the letters A E G inside .
research Belgian guild/shotguns for more info. send a picture maby I can be of some help
