So, are you planning to start a war?

    Your question is questionable.

Get a 22, no matter what you do a 22 is the easiest to use and always serves it’s purpose.

  3. pmarie

a toy one, they cause less damage……..

glock has my handgun vote (it’s what I trust, and it’s like the ak of handguns)
Ak47 is the most dependable (if you could an HK G36 Sweet rifle)
m4′s ain’t bad (but I like the bigger round of an AK)
Shotguns, most do what they should so idk.. Saiga 12s are cool, 8 round clips, semi auto..

    Heavy combat rifle
    HK-91

    Light combat rifle
    Colt AR-15

    Shotgun
    Remington 870

    Handgun
    Colt 1911

You need to be more with the info. Why do you need a assault rifle, what kind of shooting is the shotgun for (hunting, clay birds etc. ), and with the pistol ( self defence, target etc. ).

For Assault rifle your best bet would be a AR-15. they support anything from 10 round clips to 150 round drums, they have excellent accuracy especially with a good scope and their firepower is strong enough to bring down a deer with good shot, they run between 1,000 and 1,500 usually.

The Ak family are fun guns but they have very little accuracy to speak of since the whole mentality behind the gun is to mass fire with lots of buddys. Thats not to say you cant hunt or target shoot with it, its just less accurate than an AR-15…but probably more fun. As far as fire power, if you hit it, it will probably go down, it shoots a very large 7.62 bullet vs the AR-15s .223. Another plus for the AK is they are dirt cheap, you can find them as low as 100 bucks but I would look for a nicer one thats around 300 to 500

Shotguns are hard to go wrong with, I like any Remington but thats all I have :)

I love my Colt 1911 Pistol best gun I have ever shot. They can be very pricey though

For me its the M-14 or the M1 Garand Rifle.* A Model AA-12WDS Shotgun.* A 357 Magnum Revolver by S&W or a Charles Daly Field Model EFS in 45acp.*..

    No such weapons exist.

Each weapon suits different needs and is made for different purposes, with differing capabilities.

For instance, in a handgun, do you want the highest stopping power with a large caliber bullet, or do you want a handgun that can hold the maximum amount of bullets. The two are pretty much mutually exclusive.

In an Assault Rifle. Do you want high accuracy? Or maybe you value reliability in all sorts of conditions and terrain?

In order for anyone to give you good recommendations, you must define your requirements, and which are more important then the others. Most likely, many things you’ve never even thought of.

Since I have mostly handguns, let me tell you what I’d want or have. If I were going into combat, I’d want a Beretta 9mm or Colt 1911. For target practice and home defense, a Colt Python .357 with 6" barrel. For concealed carry, I have a small Star Firestar 9mm. For cheap plinking, an S&W Model 422 or Ruger .22. Notice none of these will really fill the bill for all my needs with just one gun.

    I suggest

    for pistol- 1911

    rifle – Sig 556

shotgun -Remington 870 (many styles to pick from)

  11. Narci M

you cant go wrong with a glock 19 a bushmaster AR 15 and a remington 870

Assault rifle? — Please take that out of your vocabulary….. What you want is a semi-auto sporting rifle…. Armies own assault rifles – You risk looking silly using that term in a gun shop or around gun people…..

The best semi-auto carbine to own is a Ruger Mini 14…..

Why? – Its reliable, decently accurate, uses cheap ammo, accepts a box magazine and best of all it looks polite……

an AR-15 with all the post ban stuff for an assault rifle like laser sight, flashlight, flash hider, compact stock, and five 30 round mags and a drum magazine. for the shotgun a winchester M1897 12. gauge with a bayonet lug. 8 round tube and can slam fire. for a hand gun a smith and wesson model 29 a .44 magnum if you have those there is NO situation you can’t handle.

  14. ishootbirds2

AK-74 or variant, in 5.45x39mm caliber with under folding stock
Saiga 12 gauge semiautomatic shotgun have it modified to have last shot bolt hold open.
Glock 21 semiautomatic handgun in .45acp

if you have money, krink the AK-74 barrel and make that a (legal) SBR. add a forward grip to increase control

If there’s more money, SBS the Saiga 12 and add a forward grip

Well, for the handgun there isn’t much to do besides high cap magazines. the AK-74 can act a handgun is needed, so can the saiga 12.

    abbreviations:
    SBR = Short Barrel Rifle
    SBS = Short Barrel Shotgun
all are NFA Class 3 weapon types. Anything that’s a class 3 is very expensive.

    have lots of money:
Automatic rifle: RPK in 7.62x39mm Or RPD if you can find one. MG or semiautomatic only (doesn’t matter)
    Battle Rifle: CETME in .308
Assault Rifle: AK-74 select fire, SBR, with folding stock and forward grip
Assault Rifle 2: Galil in .223 caliber
Assault Shotgun: Saiga-12 shotgun with aftermarket drum magazines
Combat shotgun: Mossberg 500 in 12 gauge
Semiautomatic pistol: Glock handgun in 40, 45acp, 9mm. take your pick
Small pistol: TT 30 type pistol, 7.62x25mm (high penetration)

  15. Slowpoke

AK47 for assault rifle never fail with any type of ammo
Mossberg 500 Bullpup for home protection
    Springfield XDM for semi-auto handgun
    S&W 357 Magnum revolver handgun

  16. Austin G

Handgun- Glocks are nice, but I also like Colts, S&W, and Berettas.
Shotguns- Browning Citoris are awesome (I have one), but they are for shooting clay.
Assault Rifles- It depends… if you’re talking about civilian models, I’d say Bushmaster AR-15. If you are talking military, then I’d say AK-47, M-16, MP5, or SCAR. M1 Garands are awesome, but they aren’t really assault.

Also, you forgot sniper rifles :p

  17. Lynx

LOL… that’s like asking about politics, religion or what hair color puts out the most.

I prefer simple to use and accurate weapons. Of course the 12 gauge is the preferred all around shotgun. I personally prefer a coachman’s side by side for small game hunting and home defense.

My preferred rifle is just about any version of the AR-15. You can get more power and more accuracy from other weapons but overall they are very easy to site in, use and self repair.

Hand guns are a toss up. Find something you like and can use without strain. The Judge is too powerful (and not necessary) for most people to be comfortable with. I like the Taurus 24/7 in .45ACP.
