You might be able to mail everything except the receiver.
Why mail when you can ship firearms, by private companies and not mess with the mail?

I can already FedEx my firearms in tact. Of course the recipient has to be legally able to receive it, say a FFL holder or gun manufacturer.
If you are talking about doing this to avoid laws regarding transfer of ownership, it won’t work.

It is not illegal to ship a firearm. It is illegal to ship certain things such as ammunition. Most shipping companies have their own policies regarding the shipment of firearms. Most will only ship to or from licensed firearm dealers.

The only piece that you may NOT mail is the piece that has the serial number on it. According to the BATF, that piece IS the firearm. Everything else is just parts. The piece with the SN may be shipped UPS, of course. Some other carriers may take them, too, but I know UPS does.

Your curiosity is a bit….suspicious. Ya might want to be careful what you ask here.

I’m sure anything is possible but i don’t advise it. Even if this is a hypothetical question. Wipe the thought all the way from your mind.

The receiver (or frame) portion of any firearm that contains the serial number is considered a firearm and is illegal to mail.
