Is it illegal to wear a tactical jacket outside in Texas?

Its a black jacket with 6 magazine pockets, 6 shotgun shell pockets, 3 pistol clip pockets. All empty of course.

I’m not sure of Texas but in most states it is legal to wear a bullet resistant vest unless you commit a crime while wearing the vest.
A plain old tactical jacket, not bullet resistant, is legal in all states.
It, or any other piece of clothing, is only illegal if you represent yourself, because of the clothing, as a police officer.

No it’s not illegal as long as it does not say "Police" on it anywhere unless you are a licensed peace officer or were when it was given to you.

It doesn’t violate the penal code however its a felony in the fashion world.

It’s legal but you may look scary to some people and they may call the cops. If that happens the cops will come and arrest you for disturbing the peace.
Basicaly same as carrying a gun, your allowed to carry a gun if it’s not concealed however if you do cops will arrest you for disturbing the peace or some other bs charge. They will probably plant some drugs on you too, at least in Chicago they would.
