As you already know I am partial to Remington Firearms, but in this case I wouldn't recommend the SPR310 series O/U Shotguns. They are in fact Russian made and imported under contract with Remington by Bakail and to be quite honest the quality and workmanship that Remington is known for isn't there.I would not recommend these to anyone. I would stick with the American made firearms Remington makes, and not the Spartans..IMO

They are made by bakail and imported by remington. I just got done with a lot of extensive shotgun research and heard a lot of good things about this gun, the fit and finish is obviously not comperable to other over and unders but that is to be expected with the price tag. It isn't a bad gun for the money, but in the end I decided to save about 300 bucks and went with the good ol' 870 express.

I looked at them when they were still being imported by EAA, and while they are a serviceable firearm I just didn't like them. They simply didn't look or feel right to me--too heavy, too large for gauge maybe. And the fit and finish left a lot to be desired.
