On a modest income, what are the best, most effective, and easy to operate shotgun, rifle and pistol to own?

If you could only have one pistol, one rifle and one shotgun for the rest of your life for the general things like home protection, sport shooting and hunting, which pistol, rifle and shotgun would you choose?
Sola, it is because other people value the lives of others that they responsibly train and purchase guns to begin with. Let’s hope you are never in a situation where someone trained with a gun could have helped you out.

    Shotgun-12 gauge Mossberg
    Pistol- 9mm Glock
    Rifle- .308 Rem 700

All are reliable, maintainable, and cost effective.

I value the lives of my family members and the public at large, so I would find a better use for the money. But that’s just me.

The glock has always been more efficient for a good amount of range… so Glock 9mm for the pistol. ( I know the hype but forget that and look at facts)

Rifle, I’d take the Remington 700. Long range, any hunter loves it, and even some snipers use it simply for the fact that it’s accuracy is awesome and it’s low cost as far as rifles can go.

Shotguns I never pay attention to, useless unless you want to kill someone who’s really close or wound someone who isn’t. (OR kill a bird that you have to devote HOURS to digging out pellets in order to eat it for.)

pistol-colt 1911, was the standard issue sidearm of the US military for 80 years, considered among the best ever made

rifle-winchester model 70 (in whatever caliber is best for you, they range all over) considered "the rifleman’s rifle" among the simplest most accurate and reliable rifles made

shotgun-anything remington is good, especially the 1100

all of these are sort of mid tier in price, but one without a lot of different accesories isnt too bad
