Remington 870 shotgun flashlight mount?

I have a Remington 870 12 ga. police shotgun. I want to mount a gun light on it. What should I buy to be able to accomplish this?

You will have to buy a under barrel mount and then there are numerous types of lights that typically will fit any mount. They are held in place ( usually ) with a tension screw located in the mount. There are various types that light up with pressure switches that are either mounted on the light itself or by means of a small cord with a pressure switch. If your gonna use it for home defense get one with a momentary switch because if you get one that just turns on and off you will give up your position to the bad guys and you dont wanna do that. Also get the brightest one you can afford because the light itself will aide you in disabling said badguy.

Keep in mind you won’t be able to just mount any old flashlight with this.

Why do you want to point a loaded shotgun at something to look at it in the dark? Also why would you want to make a visible target in the dark in front of your center of mass? When I go looking for trouble, I hold the light low and to the left in my left hand and have my .357 in my right.
