Why do people insist on answering when they have no clue about what they are answering
Yes you can disable that ridiculous lock
There is a oversized safety button that replaces it
Remington does not even put them on the 870s anymore

I’m not sure you want to. You want it locked forward while firing or you’re going to break your support hand wrist when you fire it. That’s a lot of force to hold back with one hand.

Sure, but I wouldn’t tell you how any sooner than I would tell you how to turn a semi-auto rifle into a full auto.

You could probably disable the lock…but you would be liable for any malfunction or injury that may from the use of the firearm.
I dont like the locks either… with the good selection of high quality used shotguns out there I just dont by much of this new , lawyered-up stuff on the new market.
i dont have clue what that guy is talking about "break your wrist"?
I dont think he has a clue either.

Yes there is a way, but nobody is going to tell you how to do it because then they would be liable for anything stupid that you may do with it.

I know how to do it, but i don’t want to be liable for injury or death. Google how to remove the action lock.
