Requirements to buy 12 gauge shotgun in Michigan?

I know of the 18 year age limit and they run a background check, but are there anymore requirements for the purchase?
Also, what is the average price you’d say?

All you need is this… To be 18, have a drivers license or state issued non drivers ID, no felony record and cash…. That’s it!…..
Average price for a basic 12 guage pump shotgun like the Mossberg 500 or Remington 870 is $250 to $300…. Defense models are $300 and up……

In MI only handgun purchases carry the additional burdens of permits and such. Long guns do not require any special permits or licenses beyond the standard NICS. If you purchase from a private seller, I strongly suggest you follow the procedure of employing an FFL holder to facilitate the transaction between you and the seller to ensure you don’t get caught with a gun used in a violent crime.
