I’m trying to make a small gallery of guns to show how guns work, so if possible I’d like to know as many dimensions of guns like barrel diameter and such. (I’m using autodesk inventor) Right now I’m doing a Mossberg 590A1 and later I’ll be making a Remington 700 and maybe make an animation to switch out the barrel and action with a .50 BMG adapted barrel & action. Would prefer something along the concept of the Crimson Trace laser I have on my S&W J-frame that I can activate/deactivate while at the ready position.
I have the Rode Video Shotgun Mic and I want to hear the sound from that in my headphones, also at the same time record it through my camera. I know I’ll need a splitter to split the audio from the mic to the headphones and the camera, but no sound comes through into the mic. Do I need some sort of pocket amp? Thanks.
I own a shotgun & am getting ready 2 move 2 a different state (California) & have heard different stuff about weather I can or can’t take it with me. It’s a 12 GA. Mossberg & I’d hate 2 have 2 get rid of it.
I just went clay pigeon shooting for the first time today and am thinking about buying a single shot shotgun. I would be using the gun for almost only clay pigeon shooting and not for hunting. The problem becomes that I know next to nothing about what to choose when it comes to buying one. haha. I want a 12 gauge, and I’d like to get one for under 0 or not far over that.

I bought a mossberg 500 shotgun with a 20inch barrel which I really enjoy. I get outshot by a friend at varmits that our 15-20 yards out of my range. I miss and he kills it. Its not my aim btw. Can I put another choke on it or do I have to put a longer barrel? thx
It says its a "cylinder bore" choke. This is the gun.
I’m looking for a 12 ga. autoloader. I mainly use 2 3/4" 7 1/2oz shells because i shoot clays and hunt dove and quail. I’ve been looking for a good autloader for under 0. I like the SX2/3 and the S&W 1020. But I dont know if the SX2/3 will cycle the 2 3/4. Please tell me if you can. Also, which would you prefer? Is there anything better in this price range that is all-purpose and isn’t a Mossberg?
