If im using a rifled choke tube on a smooth bore barrel what type of ammunition should i use.?

I have a Benelli 12g Nova pump with a smooth bore field barrel. Currently im shooting rifled slugs through it. If i buy the rifled choke tube for it should i continue to shoot rifled slugs or switch to sabot slugs. It would seem to me that the rifling of the slugs would not agree [...]
