I want a Mossberg Tactical Persuader just like this for Home Defence and to drive around with in my truck but to be safe I came here first. I’m only 18 years old so I want to know if it’s legal for me to have this gun in my truck, If so can it be in Plain View? or must it be under a seat? If cops ever ask me do I have a weapon I want to be able to say Yes it’s under the seat, or for them to be able to see it laying right on the front seat. 5 star best answer.
Is this http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff313/dlchan/DSC02203-DLCsMossberg500PersuaderwA.jpg considered a long gun?
Can I have gun and Shells separate? In my truck?

Most police cars have a shotgun in between the front driver and passenger seats and I was wondering, do cops ever take it out? It seems like it would be really bulky and inconvenient, and on COPS I never see them take it out, so I was wondering how often do police officers take it out of the car? In what type of situation? Just curious.

In the U.S. Whether it be the Military, Special Forces, Counter-Terrorist Unit, SWAT, or even cops. What kind of weapons do Demolitionists use. SMGs? SHotguns? Assault Rifles? Machine Guns? what?

Alright so im going to buy a shotgun when I turn eighteen, which is in about 2 months. I was thinking about getting the FN tactical police shotgun, or just a mossberg model.
Do they sell rubber bullets to civilians, and can these shotguns use them? If it comes down to self defense, i would rather not kill someone, but just drop them and call the cops.
Well here if an attacker comes at you with his hands, and you have a gun, killing him would not be self defense. If i did have a rubber bullet, i would indeed shoot him in the leg, or somewhere where i think he would not die.

I’m just curious, but can cops use shotguns under any given circumstance? Like for a domestic case with an unarmed suspect?
This morning there was an incident at my house where the cops had to show up, it was a domestic violence case and six or seven cops showed up, one carrying a shotgun.
The suspect was a man and we specified that he was unarmed. I just thought it was a little too much… seven guys with guns and one carrying a shotgun? Is it extreme or is this common and allowed?
