Hello all. I was just wondering what the difference is between a rifle and a shotgun. When I hear shotgun I think of a 12 gauge double barrel and when I hear rifle I think of a single barrel gun where you have a magazine. Am I right about these differences? Are there any other differences? Thanks.
Serial Number 7, 12 gauge double barrel, with hammer. We are NOT planning to sell, but we’d like to have an idea of how much to insure. I’ve searched Parker & Remington web sites but came up with nothing.
Thanks for the link back to parkergun.org. I did look there, and they will research the gun for … I was trying to avoid the cost, but it’s probably worth it, really. I’ll check out a few catalogues as well.

i have an old shotgun that i was wondering the value of. I can hardly find information on the web so im hoping someone knows about them. Its a double barrel, side by side, that has two triggers. Im pretty sure its a 20 but it could be an 18 or a 24 (its that old). It has the words "Rubans D’acier" in real gold inbetween the two barrels. There is also a lot of craftsman signatures that i can hardly read. I think it could be worth a lot, if anyone knows that would be great.
I’m a beginner at clay shooting. I looking to buy a new shotgun for this purpose, but the sources I’ve seen recommend an autoloading double barrel (side by side or o/u) shotgun for trap shooting. But these are generally a lot more expensive than pump shotguns. Can I just get a pump shotgun for trap shooting?
Hi, I looking for a double-barrel airsoft shotgun. Gas powered. If bought online, shipped to the U.S.A, FL. Alot of FPS. And shoots in shells. Crack open the barrel to load and reload.
sorry that i put fishing, if u cant find a double barrel, try an auto shotty
Hello. I would like to get involved in clay shooting but I am a complete beginner. I’ve never even held a shotgun before. I am English.
I know there are two different types of double-barrel gun; over and under/ side by side. I will need the former for clay shooting I believe.
I have a couple of questions, I’d be very grateful for any help…
With these double-barrel guns, is it possible to fire both barrels at the same time…or can you only shoot one after the other?
I am a fit 22yr old lad, average build, with fairly limited funds but not a shoelace budget. What sort of gun should I look at buying, assuming I get on well with my first couple of goes? I know the club will advise me but I’m just eager to start looking through the catalogues! What gauge/ set up etc, and what ammo type or size?
I saw a double barrel shot gun at a store and told myself that I would remember the make and model and of course I didn’t. It was a used gun selling for 9, 12 gauge, the total length being around 35 to 43 in, single trigger, older looking model, most likely Winchester, could be Remington, no visible hammer showing, wood grain, and silver with blue barrel. It is not the Remington SPR220. Who makes this gun, and what is the model?
to learn about the pro's and con's of each as well as the biggest mistake all the "heavy artillery" guys make when choosing "terminator ammo"!
