I hate the damn thing! I use shotguns for skeet shooting ok. Every time I go to the gun range to skeet shoot The damn thing, without a doubt always screws up on me and the fired shell does not eject! Would it be worth it to trade it in to a store like gander mountain or should i just keep it?

allright i love tactical looking guns and so we have a Remington 870 tactical (folding stock, 18" barrel, etc). so if i wanted to use this for bird hunting, instead of buying a new shotgun, could i just go over to gander mountain and pick up a remington 870 hunting barrel and swap it with the tactical one? would it work?
also, i was thinking about just buying a new hunting shotgun anyway (remington 870 express). can i put tactical foregrips/stocks on this?

This past hunting season i was going to use my grandpa’s Mossberg 20 gauge pump shotgun but i didn’t due to that i bruised my shoulder firing a similar shotgun. Anyway when my dad and i went to a Gander Mountain to buy rounds for the shotgun i thought we could use buck shot but the guy there said that in Minnesota and in several other states Buck Shot is illegal. My question is, why is it illegal? Is it because on how much damage it can do to someone?

I can’t find any info on this shotgun. Gander Mountain has this beautiful over under shotgun at an introductory rate of 9. The tag says "Benelli Franchi/Legend". I almost bought this gun but the sales person told me it’s for a lefty and all the one’s they have are for lefty’s.(Which explains the price) I also held the gun in the pull position and didn’t see any difference except he said some people will pull it up and be looking at the right side of the barrel. Can anyone give me more thorough info? I know Benelli bought out Franchi and is importing it for them but any reviews or feedback? Thanks.

I’m 14, and wanting to srtide away from boy hunting, and i found the remington 11-87 in 20 gauge at gander mountain, it was a reasonable prise 9.99, and I’m really wanting to get it, but how bad is the recoil if I use 2 3/4” slug shells? And this will be a good choice on deer, right?

I appreciate all help! But please refrain from making smart remarks as answers. If you don’t like guns, that is fine. I don’t need to know your opinion.
I am interested in purchasing a new or nearly new shotgun for skeet and sporting clays. I have borrowed both an o/u and semi-autos and I enjoy shooting both. At this point I am considering a Beretta 3901 or 391 or possibly an inexpensive o/u. I would like to keep the price in the 0 to 0 range. Suggestions on any online options or brick and mortar in Ohio or Indiana would be most appreciated. In this area we have Dick’s, Gander Mountain and Bass Pro as well as several locally own shops. I have checked them all out but still haven’t found the selection or pricing that I am looking for.
I am leaning toward a new gun since I do not think I could identify damage or wear on a used weapon.
