where can I go to learn how to properly care for and shoot a .410 gauge shotgun. if my dad was still alive I would go to him, but he isn’t. I’m in the Inland Empire, southern California.

I want to shoot skeet and/or trap. I need a 20 gauge shotgun because I have a back injury and when I tried it with a 12 gauge it caused some pain.
Looking at the Mossberg website, they only mention a 12 gauge skeet choke. Nothing for 20 gauge. What choke would be the closest substitute; improved cylinder, modified or full? Are the chokes interchangeable between these two? I’d save with the Maverick. Seems the Maverick holds 5 1 and the Mossberg holds only 4 1. Are there any other major difference for a newbie between the two? Is there another choke from another maker more suitable? Is there any other sub 0 20 gauge pump shot guns you’d recommend over these two? Maybe NEF Pardner pump? Thanks.
who makes a tactical 10 gauge shotgun… or a short barrel double barrel 10 gauge…looking for personal protection one… dont say get a 20 or 12.. i have my mind set on a 10 gauge. thanks
Does anyone here have any good links or suggestions on how to upgrade the stock (front bead) sight on a mossberg 500. This is a personel defense gun, but i want more than a lame bead sight.

I have a side by side double barrel 10 gauge shotgun that I purchased new in 1975. It says on it….Made For Parker in Marixa Eibar Spain. I used it quite a bit years ago for goose hunting and painted it with a flat camo paint that should come off easily. It’s been well cared for. I haven’t used it in years and would like to sell it but have no idea what the value might be. I contacted a local gun shop but they were no help and offered me next to nothing for it sight unseen. Any ideas?? Thanks.
I would like a 12 gauge shotgun that is semi auto with a collapsible stock and pistol grip. I however am having issues locating such a thing. Most semi autos that I’ve seen have fixed stocks that I can’t tell if they could be changed out. Then I’ve seen a number of pump shot guns with collapsible stocks. Maybe I’m just not looking in the right places but are there many models out there with these features. Thanks!
i was going to use my 410 or 12 gauge shotgun for deer hunting next year. is it possible to use an unrifled barrel,if so what kind of slug and should i take the choke off or should i use a choke at all?

I am looking for a shotgun for all types of shooting…like target, deer hunting, small game, etc. Also can you use rifled slugs, and other loads in any shotgun?
