Hello, does any body know how much a Benelli Nova Pump 12 Gauge shotgun cost at a gun shop? If you bought one, how much did you pay? What finish did you get yours in? Do you like it, or do you recommend something else?
Thanks!

i picked up a model 48 16 gauge shotgun at a price i couldn’t pass up. the only thing wrong is the stock is cracked. i know the owner of a local gunshop and he couldnt find a stock that would fit it. any idea what stock would be interchangeable from a modern gun?

Specifically, I live in massachusetts currently, and I am in new jersey and want to purchase a 12 or 20 gauge shotgun from my favorite gun store in new jersey. I have my FID with me. Is there anything else I need to purchase one?

I live in a Houston apartment complex, very upscale place. A few days ago three guys burglarized an apartment. The occupants of the apartment where home. They busted in and robbed them. They were Africans, presumably illegals. I have a Mossberg Persuader shotgun. It is a pump action 12 gauge shotgun. I bought it new two years ago. It has never been fired. I have always kept the gun loaded and chambered and leaning against the wall next to my bed. I live alone. Here are my questions: Is it bad to keep
a round chambered? I mean does it create tension on the guy if a round is chambered? . Perhaps I should keep the shot gun shells in the bottom tube of the gun, and pump the shotgun
to load a shell into the chamber when needed. But I figure if I need it, every second will count so I shoulld keep the round chambered. But does it hurt the gun is my question. Also, the safetey switch has two positions. One position, slide back toward the shooter, is what I assume is the safety positon. If I push the switch forward away from the shooter, a flourescent red dot appears. I am thinking the red dot means the safety is off.. use caution. I can’t find my manual, though, to verify this. Does the red dot generally mean safety is off? I store my gun with safety on. Or in other words, with the red dot blocked out. Thanks.

I’m looking to maybe get my boyfriend a 12 gauge shotgun for xmas because he has always wanted to go hunting. Also, if I can’t afford one, I was looking to get a toy gun that looks real but isn’t. Does anyone sell stuff like that?

I was just wondering how loud a 20 gauge shotgun is. If it matters, the model is a Remington 870.

I just bought a mossberg maverick 88 12 gauge shotgun. It has a 5 shot mag and then 1 in the chamber. It’s the field model with a 28 in barrel and a modified choke. I read the owners manual and is says it can use 2 3/4 shells and 3in shells, can it use 3 1/2 shells ? And can it shoot slugs the way it is or do I gotta change something ? Thanks !

I got a turkey license today, I have a 12 gauge shotgun. It says 2 3/4 or 3 inch shells…. then Mossberg Model 9200, 28in. Accu-Choke. So I was wondering what kind’ve choke I’ll need for that. And I’m not even sure what a choke is either.

I’m not planning on killing myself, but I was wondering, if someone put a 12 gauge shotgun in their mouth towards the back of their teeth, pointed it to the roof of their mouth, held the gun firmly in place with both hands so it couldn’t move and then pulled the trigger with their toe, can they survive?

I’m thinking about getting a new/ good condition shotgun over the Summer, shotguns are the one thing me and my father don’t have many of, maybe only 3 or more, the ones I know of are a double barrel break action 20 gauge, a long barreled goose 12 gauge and one other which I’ve forgotten what it was. So I’ve decided by the end of Summer I should pick one up. I want something for just walking around in the woods, maybe home defense and SHTF "hey, you never know" I want a pump action, synthetic stock to start with, 12 gauge shotgun, I’ve looked at the Mossberg 500 and Rem 870 and I know there’s a lot of debates over them, and I’m not asking for that, just what you guys think of them, I want something to that has a lot of capacity, I’m not much of a shotgun man so I know every little about models, I also want one with out an internal choke so I can shoot slugs out of it, but possibly an adapter at the end to install one. And if any of you could give me almost a full review of any guns that might suit my needs would be amazing. Sorry if anything may sound novice level but like I said, I’m not a shotgun man, I just learned how a choke worked a few days ago. Thanks. Price isn’t a major deal but let’s try to keep it as low as possible.
I looked on Gunbroker and it looks like I’d be paying from 0-0 for a Mossberg 500
Yes I know this question has been brought up so much, too bad, but I’m not asking Vs of the two, just your thoughts and/or any other models, I’m not asking for self def so relax, but a high cab, pump action, reliable shotgun.
With as much capacity as I can possibly get out of a pump action, tube feed shotgun.
I think I’m leaning towards the Mossberg 500 or 590, but ammo’s a b!@#$ so I’ll have to find the best deal I can.

Is there any firearm that would do more damage at 10 feet than an 8 gauge shotgun with a slug? How would you compare this with a 50 caliber barrett sniper rifle at that distance? My initial thoughts would assume that the bullet from the rifle would penetrate the object, and the shotgun slug would stop once it hit the target, but would blow it up on contact.

I own a Mossberg Maverick 88 12 gauge shotgun and Im a hunter so this deer season I would like to use it. Does this gun have enough power to kill a deer under 50 yards. Mine isnt the home defense one it has a 28 inch barrel chambered for 2 3/4 and 3inch. Is the barrel rifled in the Maverick 88? If not I no Im gonna buy a rifled barrel at Academy. I shoot 2 3/4 rifled remington slugs. Could it also kill moose, elk, and white tail deer?
MAIN CONSERN IS "CAN IT KILL A DEER!!"
Thanks and happy hunting
