hi, the shotgun is advertised with a fixed cylinder choke, can i hunt with this? i hunt any thing from crows, rabbits, deer, ducks, pretty much anything that moves. also can i shoot any type of shells from birdshot to slugs? Sorry if it sounds dumb, im a rifle/handgun guy and know nothing of shotguns.
I want to buy and own a shotgun but im not totally sure if its legal. I know, in Oklahoma, I have to be 21 to own a handgun. I live in Oklahoma and just need to know if it is legal for me, a 19 year old, to buy and own a shotgun to keep in my house, I wont be hunting or using it in any sport. I want to buy a shotgun but I live in california I hear you can buy as many long rifles or shotguns but in california you can only dros a handgun every month and I wanted to know that if I buy I shotgun would I have to wait a whole month to buy a hanfgun or can I just buy it?
My 870 remington shotgun recently broke on me and ive been thinking of the idea of hunting small game with handguns. How practical that is? Im not sure. I reside in the state of Kansas and I know its legal to hunt with handguns. If anyone knows or hunts with handguns, what do you use and whats the best handgun to use? I still prefer a shotgun over anything, but like I said. Im pondering this idea.
I never will understand the logic in preventing someone under 21 from buying/owning a handgun "depending on the state" will somehow prevent shootings in this age group? But when your 18 and up you can just as easily buy an AK semi auto rifle or a 12 gauge semi auto shotgun that can maim and kill large groups of people much easier then a typical handgun ever will.
Yes I have heard the handgun is easier to conceal BS.You can just as easily take a guitar case or a large gym bag have the rifle put in and not be alerted by anyone if you casually stroll through a shopping center.And if someone intends to commit a massacre all he has to do is pull the rifle out of the bag and open fire and if he is highly skilled with the rifle he can put a large number of people down with controlled well aimed shots with the rifle.
Even just going on a full on rampage will end up with people dead and police still taking time to respond.
If we trust 18 year olds with rifle’s and shotgun’s why not handgun’s?

I live in an apartment. I very careful with guns. I realize any bullet will travel through walls, but what is the best gun(i.e. shotgun, handgun, etc.) and bullet (i.e. buckshot, hollowpoint, etc.) for self defense that will break up the fastest. I don’t want to fire a round that will go through the whole appt complex if the worst happened. I’m thinking 9mm hp would be good.

I just got my deer permit in the mail, in my state we can use a shotgun, muzzle loader or handgun for the firearm season. I have been thinking about using a handgun. The only legal handguns are center fire revolvers or center fire single shots. 4 inch barrel minimum length. Any suggestions on a accurate hand gun?
