I’m looking to trade in my Weatherby 12 ga. auto for a home defense tactical 18". I like the Benelli pump, the 870 0r the 11-87 Remington. What’s the best in your opinion ?
Okay i’m not really modifying it, but I currently have a mossberg 835 with a 24" turkey barrel. I would like a home defense gun, and was wondering if I could buy a shorter barrel for it. Of course I also want a longer barrel for sporting clay shooting.
Otherwise what is a good economically priced home defense shotgun that can handle heavy loads and is reliable.
I’ve Googled it for the past 3 hours and was very unsuccessful in finding what I’m looking for. I want to turn my benelli into more of a home defense weapon because I’ve moved into a more aggressive neighborhood. but the stock gun is WAY to big and cumbersome to effectively maneuver through a house. I was wondering if anyone knew of different models of guns which aftermarket equipment would fit onto my benelli, or something else that might work, I’m open to most any ideas.
Hello, I just wanted to ask if an International Student who is legally here in US can purchase a shotgun or maybe pistol for home defense? Doesn’t have green card, just permanently in US for education, maybe stay here in the future. Is it possible to do it? Or law requires to be resident here? Thank you.
Looking for my next gun purchase, i thought these would be fun toys to have. I already have a home defense weapon and im not looking for anything to hunt with either. simply to shoot targets and do some plinking. both are similarly priced on gun as well as ammo so i was just wanting some advice on which will be the most fun
Recently, my house was broken into. Since then I fear for the safety of my family and myself. I was planning on purchasing a shotgun for home defense. What would happen in the event that I pump the shotgun but then I do not need to fire it? I’m not too familiar with the anatomy of a shotgun.
i want to buy a new shotgun for home defense i saw a rock island tactical for around 220 and it looked awesome but i cant find any reviews i have also been looking at the mossberg 500 i dont really wanna spend to much more than 300 any ideas
I’m 20 and want a home defense shotgun. I’m not old enough to buy a handgun and live in a town with allot of home robberies. It’s 18 to buy a long gun I think so do I just walk in and ask him to show me the best gun for the purpose I need? How does it work? Thanks.
I really want a shotgun, for home defense, and for a little sport. I really want a tactical one. I’ve been hearing a lot about the 870s but this one just seems so much cooler:

I don’t know much about guns, so i wanted to hear so expert opinions!!
to learn about the pro's and con's of each as well as the biggest mistake all the "heavy artillery" guys make when choosing "terminator ammo"!
(Hint: It has nothing to do with "stopping power" but it's nearly as important to your family that you get this right! Not doing so could cost you a lifetime of grieving that no law-abiding family should suffer...EVER!)Read More...
