I use Trenchgun + Bayonet
sticky/tabun
Magnum
Bazooka(for farther targets).
Stopping power
Steady aim
So my question is, what is the best pistol to use with the trenchgun? Because the trenchgun is a close quarters weapon, i think that a pistol that is more accurate from a far range will be better. I’ve tried the magnum, and it doesn’t seem that accurate at a far range because the first shot hits and the next 5 misses. So should I use the Tokarev or the magnum? I know magnum is stronger, but if it can’t hit targets at medium range then it doesn’t matter. Also, should I use frags or stickies? I heard stickies are good for CQC where you’re in a tough position and you just need to lob out a grenade ( like reloading the shotgun).
Thank you for your help.
whoops i meant to put it in the video games section. Sorry.

Hi I just bought my first shotgun since I just turned 18. I am wanting to know if my Mossberg 500 12 gauge is capable of firing slugs. It says in the owners manual that the 500 models are designed for 2-3/4" and 3" magnum shells. I bought a pack of winchester 2-3/4" 12 gauge shells and a 5 pack of 2-3/4" 12 gauge sabot style slugs. If you own one of these could you tell me if you have fired the slugs out of one and do they work fine. I havent used my gun yet and dont want to ruin it. Thank You and if you need more information to answer just let me know and I will e-mail you or you can e-mail me.

The serial number is in the 32,000 range. My grandfather gave it to me. He said his grandfather gave it to him. I dont shoot it – it just hangs proudly above my mantel. Any info on this weapon is appreicated. I also own a .44 magnum super blackhawk ruger w/ A 10 1/2 barrel. I love that gun. It shoots good!

My wife wants a revolver for at home and possibly to conceal in a purse as soon as she gets her permit.
She does not want a semi auto or shotgun, or anything like that.
Just a cheap, but durable revolver preferably in either 357 magnum, or something that she can shoot 38 +P in.
Is there anything good for around 0 or less?

I have a Remington 870 shotgun with an 18 inch cylinder bore barrel. It can be used for skeet and trap shooting, but it is hardly ideal as the pattern generated is too wide to hit the birds at long range. Also, my nearest range won’t permit barrels under 26 inches for their trap/skeet range.
Is it as simple as buying a new barrel online and installing it via the normal fieldstripping/cleaning method? That seems like it would work. Can anyone recommend what kind of chokes I should be looking at, or know good suppliers online?
I have an Express Magnum with a 6 shot shell capacity (I think two shot extension tube) if that makes a difference.

Yesterday, I asked about the best shotgun for home defense. Most people said that they used 12 gauge shotguns (even though other kinds are also sufficient). The top recommendations are the mossberg 500, remington 870, and the mossberg 590 (some other people mentioned it). Now that I’ve narrowed down my choices, which of these would you pick? I don’t want a double-barrel, only a single barrel. I would also want to get one made from the most durable material (preferably black synthetic stock). Before I go out and buy one, does anyone want to throw their 2 cents in? If you want to recommend one of those that I listed, which specific version should I get? I want one with a shorter barrel.
I know that, but I still want to pick out a specific model. I already know that 12 gauge can kick butt.
What about the 870 marine magnum?

Is it a rifled barrel or a smooth bore barrel? Nowhere on the company’s website does it indicate.

It’s in very good to excellent condition. What’s it worth? I paid 5 for it. Was that a good deal. it has about a 20" barrel and an extended magazine.
What is it worth?
gordon b, actually the pawnshop I deal with here in Arkansas always gives me unbelievable deals. The Benelli was on consignment from a man with a big medical bill. If I had wanted to be an @ss I probably could have got him down some, but that wouldn’t be right. I also got an FAL L1A1 in new condition from another consignment there for, get this, 0. Both these deals were out the door, tax included. I could tell you even more but y’all might come here and swipe all the good deals out from under me. OK, one more. About three years ago I was at a yard sale and this guy had a brand new Ruger Vaquero with 4-1/2" barrel in .44 magnum with the ivory-like factory grips in the box and I talked him down to 0, I sh!t you not. Everything is cheap in Arkansas!
JD, it’s got the beavertail wood forearm, full length wood stock with sling slot cut in the side. A rifle like front sight and a wierd arched rear sight. That’s about it.

It is a Sportsman 12 pump magnum. It has the vent ribbed barrel and takes 2 3/4" or 3" shells. It’s is immaculate and around 22 years old.
