My buddies and I went shooting today, and after skeet shooting for a while we decided to set up a poor man’s tactical course. If I’m just standing there I can hit my target pretty well with my pistol, but it’s SO much harder to hit your target when you’re moving from place to place and trying to be quick. We were using our pistols and 12 gauges. Reloading the pistol is a piece of cake obviously, but reloading the 12 is so hard when you’re "under pressure."
So how do I learn to load the 12 gauge faster? Is there a certain stance I should be using when shooting pistol/shotgun? Anything else I should know about the sport? I’m right handed and right eye dominant, if that helps. It was just a lot of fun and I want to get better at it. Thanks
Oh yeah, I have no money to pay for any kind of classes

I am interested in getting my 1st shotgun for hunting fowl. I have my eye on the pump action Remington 870 12g supermag. To save money on buying a tactical shotgun for home use, couldn’t I just but a tactical barrel that could be switched out on the 12g Remington 870 Supermag?

I sold my Remington 870 to my nephew, and was highly considering using the money I got for it, and buying this shotgun. It has a black synthetic stock and pistol grip, it chambers 2 3/4", 3", and 3 1/2". It has an 18.5" barrel with a total length of 40", weighs 7.8 lbs, and holds 4 + 1.
Can anybody give me their opinion of this gun please?
I plan to use this for home defense, and plan to use 3 1/2" 00 buck, which has 18 pellets per shot.
How much more recoil will this have compared to the usual 2 3/4" or 3" 00 buck shot?
This is the gun I’m talking about:

for example, if I was on holiday there (i’m english) could I buy one and smuggle it back somehow? I really want one, there are some local gangs that need dealing with…..I’m thinking G63C or M4 or some sort of shotgun – Tactical 12-Guage…Perhaps even a Jeep with a .50 Cal Turret on the back. I have ALOT of money

I have 3 achers of land, 2 of which are wooded, I use shotgun to hunt, but Don’t want to have to pay the Government more money to just hunt on my own property. If I do hunt, can I still have a butcher, butcher the deer I get without a hunting licence?

Most if not all shotguns here you just need to be 18, not mentally unstable and have money. This one is used by the military so I was wondering if there were any special circumstances in purchasing one new from a gun store.

I bet someone could fire off those two barrels off faster than a modern automatic shotgun. Remember, this beautiful weapon has been in service for centuries and was a common sight in the old west. Why, this gun most likely kept your grandparents money safe as it crossed the rugged frontier. In exchange for its lengthy and noble service it only receives mocking and is now considered a novelty or joke. Why is this once feared gun considered "obsolete"?

I can afford a new one, but I always like to save a little money when I can. Will I save much buying used, and will the savings be worthwhile? Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about shotguns to recognize if a used one has any problems. There’s a good chance I’ll buy from a gun show, because I’m in a small town and there aren’t any local dealers to support.

I asked for feedback on these two autoloader shotguns so I could make a decision on which to buy for Duty carry….I get a range of answers from "over-priced junk" to "the best shotgun I have ever owned or fired"….so now I am torn between believing that the US Marine Corps and the US Army dont know whom to pick to build their guns and believing that some cop got one and has no trouble recommending my carrying and depending on one of these to defend my life…so whats up with people?….do they just hate the idea that someone can afford the best?..I know these guns have stood the test of combat and constant duty carry and served well….I just want to get the best for my money to defend my life and possibly my family’s
FN builds the S.A.W.,not a shotgun for the Army….I have 2 mossbergs but I want an auto..I also have an 870 issued for Duty use but i want an auto, not a pump…..I stll havent seen any feedback for a negative on the Benelli or the FN Police Tactical Auto…

I am not new to guns, but new to tactical shotguns. I want to buy a mossberg pump and build it the way I want, but would like to save money by buying a pistol grip with no stock and installing an aftermarket stock later. I want to know if I have to replace the pistol grip when buying a stock for the gun, or will the new stock install onto the existing pistol grip?

I am looking for a shotgun that can do everything. I am willing to spend some money. But in doing this i want a shotgun not just for one specific thing. Is there a shotgun that i can duck hunt with, turkey hunt with, dove hunt, go goose hunting with and maybe even deer. Basically i want a shotgun that can hunt anything i want to. I am lookin at the Berretta Xtrema 2… any other suggestions?

Have a 500A Mossberg shotgun I got cheap from a relative. Brand new for 0. My question is, are they reliable and hold their own to the Remington 870? Thanks for all your help. I’ve been hearing some mixed opinions by using google.
Just the field model 28" barrel and I also got a 24" Slugster barrel.
Thanks, wish I had the money for even a Benelli!

I would like to get started turkey hunting and waterfowl hunting. I’m in college and don’t have a lot of disposable income so I was just wondering what the best deal for the money would be. Also I live in Kentucky so maybe that will help in deciding the type of gun (due to the type of game available).
