I want to hunt turkey and deer. I found the mossberg 535 and the mossberg 500. Which is better for what I’m doing. I don’t want to spend more than 300 and want a good gun. I heard they are made of aluminum. Does it ever bend or break often. I need help, I’m a first time buyer.

I just purchased my first shotgun, it is a Mossberg 535, and it has an oily residue over the exterior to prevent rusting. I was wondering what the best way to clean the gun is before I take it to the shooting range? Should I do a quick wipe-down of the exterior, or should I disassemble the gun and clean it as if it had been fired?

I’m looking to by the Mossberg 535 ATS Tactical shotgun but all I can find are ones that are camo. Does anyone know where to find one or if they even come in black?

My dad bought me this 12 gauge Mossberg 535 last weekend for my birthday. We plan on hunting turkey with it this fall.
He also bought me two boxes of Winchester Supreme 3 1/2" Turkey loads for this shotgun.
Will the 3 1/2" Turkey load be great for self defense also?

I bought myself a mossberg 535 a few weeks ago (my first gun) for 400 dollars, came with a bird barrel and deer barrel. I hear mossberg is a great gun, very reliable.

So why do people pay twice or even three times as much for a benelli shotgun? Is it any better, if so how?

Should i get a mossberg 500 or a mossberg 535? I will be hunting birds (doves.phesant.exc), deer, squirrel, and some other small game. I want the combo because of the rifled deer barrel. I want a 12 gauge. i have a 20 and a 16 already. Anyone ever shot both or have both? help me out!
I was leaning towards the 500 anyway. But 3.5 shells are those the ones that are like 8.00 a box? I would like to also turkey hunt.
how much is an 870 express combo. How much is a Mossberg 500 or 535 combo? I have been told that 870 are better but, the Mossbergs are LOTS lighter.
