I have a Remington 870 Express Magnum and I was wanting to purchase a second barrel for it. I want to get an 18" barrel. I don’t want to cut down the one I already have because I would like to keep that one skeet shooting. I looked on Remington’s website and they have barrels but they are like 0.00 +. Does anybody know where I can get them cheaper than that? Maybe around 0.

I need a 24" or 26" with rem choke threads for 12 GA remington 870. everywhere I look is either overpriced or out of stock. I doesn’t make sense to me to pay 0 for a barrel to a 0 -350 shotgun.

im 15 and 125 lbs. and 5′ 8" im shopping for a shotgun that i can use to go hunting with im looking for the best shotgun that i can handle but with enough power to hunt anything and everything but is also doesnt have so much recoil that itll knock me down on the ground. also i dont want an extremely outrageous price something under 600$ is good.

Eferrel, you have to take into consideration that these #’s more than likely came from ballistics gel testing. Now 5" of penatration on the gel is probably only equal to about 1" or 2" on a human torso due to the heavy bones that cover the heart and lung area ( rib cage)
Also they weren’t talking about something to kill someone a couple minutes later, they wanted absolute drop in your tracks stopping power, which I would consider to be about 3" through the rib cage.

I bought a mossberg 500 shotgun with a 20inch barrel which I really enjoy. I get outshot by a friend at varmits that our 15-20 yards out of my range. I miss and he kills it. Its not my aim btw. Can I put another choke on it or do I have to put a longer barrel? thx
It says its a "cylinder bore" choke. This is the gun.

I am an avid trap and skeet shooter and I’m looking to buy a new shotgun. So I need a bit of advice. There are three pump shotguns from Remington that I’m interested in. Now before you tell me to go with semi-automatic, yes I know but it is just too much out of my budget. So the three models are the Remington 870 Express 28", 870 Express Tactical 18.5", and 870 Express Synthetic 7-Round, all 12 Gauge. Any idea which I should purchase for this particular sport?
Well if I can’t get a semi-auto then I’m pretty sure I can’t afford an over and under either.

Hi I just bought my first shotgun since I just turned 18. I am wanting to know if my Mossberg 500 12 gauge is capable of firing slugs. It says in the owners manual that the 500 models are designed for 2-3/4" and 3" magnum shells. I bought a pack of winchester 2-3/4" 12 gauge shells and a 5 pack of 2-3/4" 12 gauge sabot style slugs. If you own one of these could you tell me if you have fired the slugs out of one and do they work fine. I havent used my gun yet and dont want to ruin it. Selling of my father’s guns. Really have a limited background on them…. here is what I do know
Remington Fieldmaster model 572 pump action 22 caliber
12 gauge Remington Wingmaster Model 870 pump action (have 2 of them)
30 "aught" 6 Remington Gamemaster 760 pump action
Don’t have the exactly years but they would have to be ATLEAST 25 years old since they have been around for as long as I can remember.
Has far as quality….. some look better than others but as a whole I would give them a 7/10.

got to redwolf airsoft and type in 870 in the search bar and there will be a Tanaka 18" folding stock m8i70 that gets 360 on standard tanaka shells but if you get airsoft surgeon SMAG shells it’ll get about 675 FPS. Is that freakin awsome or what?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!

I know that Remington 870 is not a toy. I was simply wondering if the pictured airsoft replica is realistic, and if a magazine version really existed.
And for those of you that think there’s is no possible way for a tube fed, pump shotgun to take "box magazine." There a couple pump shotguns out there that have both tube and magazine fed version. Such as baikal MP-133 and MP-133k, http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh48-e.htm , I am also pretty sure that during the Vietnam Carroll Childers produced a "Box Magazine" fed shotgun based on the 870, so a "box magazine" fed, pump shotgun is not all really that unreasonable of an idea.

I want this for home security and to just shoot. I’m telling my wife ‘home security" but I would like a tactical shotgun I can accessorize with sights, hand grip, light, etc…. I’ve seen some online but would like to keep the cost low so I can put more "Add on’s" to it. I don’t want crap either.
