I also have some shotgun shells purchased by my grandfather some 15 to
20 years ago (back when a box of buckshot ran .79 ) and was wondering
whether or not they were safe to use. I have newer ammo I use but I
also would like to know, because he did purchase a sizeable amount of said
ammo and it would save me a few dollars. Remington 12g Buckshot and
Turkey shots.

Also, does anyone know the value of a Remington 1100 12g shotgun from 1968 (VG condition)

I am looking to buy a shotgun for the house. I have been to two stores and have seen the mossberg’s. They were going for 300 bucks out the door. I have a guy at work that wants to sell me his remington 1100 semi auto for the same price. He has only shot like 5 to 10 rounds on it.

Was cleaning my remington 1100 12 ga semi auto shotgun for the first time I took the bolt out to clean it and i get it back in and I can’t pull it back now or rack it, the bolt that is. Any suggestion on how to fix this problem thanks, much appreciated!

i am looking at 2 different models the remington 870 wingmaster and the remington 1100 the 1100 is semi auto andd the 870 is a pump. wich is a better gun

I want to convert my hunting shotgun, a remington 1100 (20 ga) into a tactical gun with shorter barrel, longer tube and pistol grip/folding stock (and not the sideways hinge stock – i hate those). doing it for home defense, a lot of home invasions going on lately in my area.

searching online, i have not found anything I’m crazy about. any recommendations?

On my 18th Birthday I was given a Remington 1100 by my uncle…I have limited knowledge about shotguns and the Remington 1100 I recently was given does not work at all..I know that this gun was purchased used by my uncle less than 10 years ago..He has only used it a couple of times at the gun range…But he knows more about other things than guns.. Yesterday I took it to the shooting range and when I loaded 2 2/3 #3 shells I closed the action and pulled the trigger and nothing happened..The firing pin went off since I observed it after I unloaded the gun to take a closer look at things..What happens is that after I close the action and squeeze on the trigger I can hear a clicking sound from the firing pin inside but shells will not shoot out of the gun…Can anybody diagnose the problem..Thanks guys for stopping by to take time and reply…Any help will be appreciated…God Bless

I just found a Remington 1100 at a pawn shop and wondered how much are they are worth. They are currently seeling it for 5 and all their shotguns are 25% off. It is pretty decent shape. Ofcourse it has a little wear from over time. Is this a good deal? Is it a good hunting gun? Thanks!

5) Muzzle Break

I’ve got up to 0 to work with, to buy and accessorize my shotgun. I’m torn between the saiga 12, a mossberg 590A1, remington 1100 tac-4, mossberg 930 road blocker!
