I’m looking to buy my first shotgun, and from what I’ve read I think I’m leaning towards a Mossberg 500 or a Remington 870. Any thoughts or comments on which one to go with? Also what should I be looking to pay for both? In the local gun store near me I have the opportunity to purchase an almost new Mossberg 500 w/ a long and short barrel kit for 5, is this a good deal or should I be looking for a better deal?

Can you change the Barrel of Beretta Teknys Gold from a shotgun Barrel to a rifled Barrel for sabot slugs ? (like the Remington 780 super magnum combo) and would you need any special tools for it?

I own a Benelli Nova and i want my 12 year old brother to shoot it also, and i had noticed that Remington 870s have extendable stocks for sale ranging from 60- 150 dollars. I have checked the benelli website, but i couldn’t find an extendable stock. Do you know any aftermarket parts for Benelli shotguns?

Ok so my grandfather gave me a 28 gauge remington and i was wondering if it would be any good for deer hunting, as i just recently took up whitetail hunting in ohio. I currently only bow hunt but if this gun is a formable deer hunting gun im going to take it out during gun season here in ohio, also anybody know what type of shells are best for deer hunting thanks

I recently purchased a benelli supernova shotgun and i bought a bottle of Remington 40-x bore cleaner. has anyone used this cleaner for the bore of their shotgun? Is it alright for me to use it?

What would the recoil be like if I put some remington reduced recoil rounds in it, I’v been using 2 3/4" slugs and am getting tired of it, feels like a darn 30-06, I got a .243 so could you compare it to it. And the round would be the remington reduced recoil 20 gauge slugs.

I’m 14, and wanting to srtide away from boy hunting, and i found the remington 11-87 in 20 gauge at gander mountain, it was a reasonable prise 9.99, and I’m really wanting to get it, but how bad is the recoil if I use 2 3/4” slug shells? And this will be a good choice on deer, right?

When I log onto the Remington site, the SPR100 in 12 gauge is available in Cyclinder Bore, with a Nickel receiver and walnut stock. I know this gun is Russian made with a Remington stamp, and have been told by two gun dealers that it is not available in Canada or discontinued. It seems odd to be so publically available online, however. Any ideas? I want to get one into Canada.

i have not called remington yet , but i know the part is going to be rare … and not new…used is fine by me . does anyone know of a good gun repair shop that might have the part ? i would also like to get a modified barrel for it. thank-you .
this shotgun was a gift from my dad when i was 10. it was my first gun , so i would like to get it fixed .

Do the 11-87′s jam too often? should you only shoot remington loads? How often is cleaning necessary? Whats the deal with Inertia drive? which gun is lowest maintenance?
