I have a modified USAS-12 shotgun. It is semi auto. Is it legal to buy a drum for it? I live in Oregon and I like to shoot clay. I don’t know what agency I should ask. I can get the drum, but I do not want to see my life behind bars.
I heard from a sales associate at Cabela’s that pump shotguns and semi auto 22′s could be on that list. Anyone have any clue and have something to back it up?
I am an avid trap and skeet shooter and I’m looking to buy a new shotgun. So I need a bit of advice. There are three pump shotguns from Remington that I’m interested in. Now before you tell me to go with semi-automatic, yes I know but it is just too much out of my budget. So the three models are the Remington 870 Express 28", 870 Express Tactical 18.5", and 870 Express Synthetic 7-Round, all 12 Gauge. Any idea which I should purchase for this particular sport?
Well if I can’t get a semi-auto then I’m pretty sure I can’t afford an over and under either.
fully automatic machine riflle, fully automatic machine pistol, 12 gauge shotgun, 20 gauge shotgun, semi auto rifle, semi auto pistol, regular pistol, regular rifle, bolt action rifle, bow, arrow tips for a bow. i need 2 different weapons for each category.
okay so i am thinking about buying a shotgun, but i dont know too much/if anything about them. i was thinking either a remington 870 or 887. i would like something semi auto but would go with a pump if it was better quality.
right now i live in alaska and i got my rem700 30.06 for the moose and black bear. so im looking for something i can hunt smaller game with and of course home protection.
Its my first year hunting whitetail, i will be using a 12 gauge, 2 and 3/4" slug. I will be hunting a winchester model 1300 or a some savage semi auto. I just picked up federal truball, winchester super-X , remington slugger and winchester supreme platinum tip slugs. Whats the effect range? There both smooth bored shotguns. and open sights.
They all say 1 oz execpt the winchester supreme. It says 400 grains. How big is the 1 oz. whats that mean? im good with rifles but i dont know anything about slugs
i live in UK and i am looking to buy a shotgun that is good for beginning shooting. i don’t care if it is pump action, semi auto, o/u, s/s. because in UK it can only hold a max of 3 cartridges or else it is classed as a section 1 firearm. i will be doing clay pigeon shooting and the odd hunting.
I shot clay pigeons today for the first time, and now I’m hooked. I have been target shooting for well over fifteen years with rifles and handguns, but I’ve hardly ever touched a shotgun until today. I fired a 410, 20, and 12 gauge. In the 20, I shot a pump and a semi. Obviously, I liked the semi-auto the best, but I’m not ruling out a pump. I’m looking for quality, but not too expensive. I doubt whether I’ll ever hunt, so this will be strictly for trap.
Thanks for the info DTT. Can I get a decent trap gun for around 0? How much is the Rem 870 Trap? I don’t want to spend too much because as for right now, I don’t know how often I’ll be able to shoot. This will be strictly for fun. I doubt whether I’ll ever get competitive.
I need to know the age and roughly the value of my gun ; Remington model 1100 12 ga. semi- auto..How can I find out the mfg. date or decode the serial #….Anything to let me know more about my gun…..Then serial # is as reads:L062745V…..Its a beautiful gun and I’d love to have an idea what it’s worth….Any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated…..Thank you very much….
Humm.. I have just start duck hunting and am using an older Remington 1100. I want to buy a new gun for under 0. I would love for it to be semi-auto shotgun if possible. I have heard Charles Daly’s are pretty good and so is the price.
I don’t know much about guns, but I want to buy a shotgun as my first gun. I’ll probably keep it forever and use it a lot before buying anything else. I was told by a shop keeper to get a 20 gauge but my uncle told me to get a 12 gauge. Whats the difference between the gauges? I want to use it to shoot birds when hunting (duck, geese, whatever else i can hunt here in Texas) and also for shoot practice shots at the range (clay flyers). What would you suggest as a good gauge and gun for me to buy? I’m willing to spend at most 500 but who knows, I’m new to this and don’t know how much i should be spending for a good gun. Oh and i think i want a semi-auto gun not a pump action, but i’m still not sure. please help.
Recently, I have been doing a lot of homework on what home defense shotgun to buy, and I’d like to have everyone’s input on what they think is the best choice of the three shotguns that I can’t decide between. They are:
Mossberg 500 with 18.5" barrel
Stoeger Coach Gun (double barrel hammerless) with 20" barrel
Saiga 12 (semi-auto shotgun, 18.5" barrel)
There are advantages and disadvantages to all of them, so I’m having a tough time deciding on which one to buy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I’m not much of a hunter but I am interested in skeet shooting and trap shooting. What is a good semi-auto shotgun for this purpose that is under 0 or 0?
looking to buy a semi auto 12 guage shotgun, i know i can pay 00 OR 0 is it a matter of you pay for what you get or do you pay for the name brand.Any model recomendations would be truly apppreciated. thanks K
to learn about the pro's and con's of each as well as the biggest mistake all the "heavy artillery" guys make when choosing "terminator ammo"!
