I am seriously thinking about the Mossberg 500, I’ve heard great things, and it’s a great price. I know you only have to be 18 to buy a shotgun where I live (MD), but are there exceptions? Can I buy this?
Also, I’ve looked all over and I can’t find a list of non-assault rifles.
Can anyone provide such a list?

I want to buy a shotgun since I’m not old enough to buy a pistol yet( stupid law). I heard that if you shoot up in the air with a pistol the bullet could fall back down and kill someone, but what if you shot in the air with a shotgun will the bullets come falling down And kill someone I hope not.

I’ve tried to do research and find this out for myself, but I cant. Where are the shells kept inside of a shotgun that holds multiple rounds? Not like a break-open shotgun,or a magazine fed shotgun, but ones that store the shells internally?

I am looking for a Brand New Shotgun similar to the Winchester 1300 or Mossberg 500 Cruiser or similar i remember i used to see the 1300 Defenders with like a Pistol Grip instead of a Stock and a Pistol Grip on the Slide i thought that was cool i think the grips were called tacstar or something? i heard they don’t make the 1300 Defenders anymore? anyway any similar ones to the 1300 or 500???

I recently acquired a Remington Model 17 shotgun. I was wondering where on the gun i can find the grade. I found a spot right on the barrel next to the breech that says "0B" and thought that might indicate a 17b "special" grade.

I have the music and part of the lyrics stuck in my head but cant figure out the song. It’s about the singer having a girl in the seat next ot him in his car and as they pull up to her drive way they see her dad outside on the porch with a shotgun. So he drives off.
I think part of the lyrics involves. "I was thinking bout a pretty little girl sitting next to me" could be wrong idk. Please Help! Thanks!

My grandpa is giving me his 1100 12 gauge and my dad might buy land by my house and it’s in a shotgun zone for deer hunting, and I want to know if I could get an interchangeable rifled barrel or if it would be eaiser to use rifled slugs or a muzzleloader.

I’m 19 and live in California, I should be able to buy a shotgun, but I know that if I’ve been in a mental institution it probably won’t happen. I’m not sure if that still applies if I was a minor when hospitalized? The last time I was hospitalized I was 16 years old, please tell me if I can or cannot buy a firearm, and if I will be in some kind of legal trouble if I attempt to buy one.

I have a mossberg M590 airsoft shotgun from walmart it works good, but I want a mag that holds more rounds. would this UTG mag fit into my shotgun. It looks the same but just bigger. Thanks

This past hunting season i was going to use my grandpa’s Mossberg 20 gauge pump shotgun but i didn’t due to that i bruised my shoulder firing a similar shotgun. Anyway when my dad and i went to a Gander Mountain to buy rounds for the shotgun i thought we could use buck shot but the guy there said that in Minnesota and in several other states Buck Shot is illegal. My question is, why is it illegal? Is it because on how much damage it can do to someone?

i am wanting to get a shotgun, i was thinking a remington 870, but then yet i dont know many more models, i love to turkey hunt, and duck hunt, and possibly try water fowl and pheasent, and quail. it needs to be able to have a camoflauge stock, and the right size barrel, i am mainly looking to be suggested a good barrel length and model of any company of shot gun. thanks

I have a Mossberg 500 Persuader (originally pistol grip configuration) 8 shot, with an oem heat shield. I’ve recently bought a mossberg ghost ring kit which I intend to install on the shotgun. My question is: if I install the ghost ring front sight, will this impair me from being able to remove the heat shield for cleaning/etc.

I’m in th market for this shotgun, but I do not like the big ass "ghost ring" sights it comes with. To me sights on a shot gun are just useless, especially since I’m not gonna be shooting at anything from more than 10 to 12 yards out as this will be primarily a home defense weapon. The beaded sight my el cheapo Mossberg Maverick 88 seems sufficient enough!
