Can I still use my mossberg maverick pump shotgun if the stock is cracked? If not which would be a better replacement stock a pistol grip or the shoulder stock? I need to know because this is my first gun and I dont want to injure my self with my own weapon.

So. I dont feel very safe with a 9mm. You could wear a leather jacket and be bulletproof.
I need a shotgun, not for target practice or hunting. Just to be kept in the house for some dummy who wants to run in.
SO. Do i want a shotgun without a shoulder stock? 18 inch barrel? I mean come on. Help me out.
Is the mossberg 500 JIC (me fav so far) my best choice for self defence?

I am interested in a Mossberg 12 Gauge Special Purpose… But this one is pistol grip only. Can I install a shoulder stock to these type of pistol grips Shotguns?! TY in advanced.
