I own a 11-48 remington sportsman autoloading shotgun. I was wondering how to remove a chamber shell with out firing it. It seems that when you chamber a round theres no way to get it out unless you fire it. Help please.

i have an old Remington Sportsman and its around 50 years old. My buddy said that since its so old that it wont be able to handle steel shot. So could it handle the steel shot and if not what would be good alternatives?
ive seen zinc shot and bismuth but i dont know if those would work.
thanks!

I have a Remington 11-87 Sportsman semi-automatic shotgun. When the barrel is on, and it is engaged (ready to fire), when I pull the trigger, nothing happens. It does "fire" when I pull the barrel about 2 inches out and pull the trigger.

i have a sportsman auto loading 20 gauge shotgun. The serial number does not start with s. i have the original manual for the gun but it does not list a model number. However on the manual written it has date 1941. Im trying to find what model it is. On the barrel it has a poly choke and a number M78247. Does anyone know what model it is?

He is big enough for a full size shotgun and I want it to take him to adulthood, but I don’t have a lot to spend. When I was a kid, I got a Remington Sportsman 12 gauge (basically a generic 870.) Do they still make that or something similar?

It is a Sportsman 12 pump magnum. It has the vent ribbed barrel and takes 2 3/4" or 3" shells. It’s is immaculate and around 22 years old.
