Does anyone out there own a pump action Maverick shotgun made by Mossberg? I bought one along with 3 choke tubes at a very good price. The gun is a 12 gauge with a black, synthetic forearm and stock. The man I bought it from told me it shoots a little to the left, (4-5 inches), which it does. It has a ventilated rib, with 2 beads on the rib. The first bead is alright. The bead on the end of the barrel is defineatly not in the center of the rib. It’s offset to the left a little. I went to Wal Mart and saw that they had 1 just like mine. I looked at it and the bead on the end of the barrel was about a quarter of an inch long and made out of white, irredescent plastic. I’m thinking someone broke the original bead, and installed this little metal tip of the end of my gun. I’ve owned shotguns with irredescent sites before. Can anyone else confirm that they have this type of Mossberg and that the bead on the end of the barrel is made out of irredescent plastic? Thx alot.
Yeah, mine has the small brass pin also. At the end of the barrel, it has a pin just like the brass one, but it’s black. Thx for all the links about Truglo and HIVIZ. I chatted with someone at Cabela’s, and there going to start sending me the catalog again. Thx everybody that answered.
I’d like 325fps or more and no stock. The more compact the better.
Im only talking about PUMP shotguns that have ONLY a pistol grip with no stock. Like a mossberg 500 cruiser.
i would use a shotgun with the stock cut off and the barrel cut short. and for my secondery weapon a H&K USP with a laser sight. choose prmary weapon and a side pistol.
I’m looking to bolster my shotgun defense options, and want to pick up a 12ga pump action Remington 870. Not sure what the differences in Express(R), HD, Tactical are. I’ve looked at one 18" barrel, synthetic, 5+1 for about 0. Seems high to me. Only purpose for this gun will be HD, I’d like an 18" barrel, black, pump, extended magazine, standard stock (speed load+). Any reccomendations?
I’m looking for the best shotgun ammo I can get for a 12G shotgun. I want the most destructive/stopping force. I don’t really care if it goes though the walls or not I’m willing to take that chance. Right now I have normal 5 rounds of ammo in my chamber and 5 rounds of 3" 76MM Magnum turkey shot rounds which is my defensive rounds..they seem to be good but I want more power..so what are my options? Would Magnum slugs be better?
And please no anti gun comments..someone breaks into my house/car I’m not going to feel sorry for him and bake him a cake.
The 5 Magnum rounds are in the stock speed feed. just to clear up any confusion..basically so the shotgun keeps 10 rounds on it at all times.
Where can i find a stock for the UTG M87 pistol grip shotgun. it looks like it can take a stock because there seems to be a hole the size of a penny over the pistol grip
I’m interested in buying a lightweight 20 ga. synthetic Remington express 870 or a 11-87 tactical for home defense. I see them on line and in stock. I live in NH and understand handgun FFL rules etc. Have had my firearms permit for nealy 35 years and renew it whenever it’s due, but don’t know the rules about shipping the shotgun to me at home or is it necessary to ship toa dealer.
I have one of these Rem. 1889 shotguns but I have no idea of the value. I have made a definite ID on it. It shows wear but is in good condition. The "rabbit ear" hammers are in excellent cond., the engraving is faded but visible, the stock is distressed but nothing major.
I have a Remington spr100 single-shot shotgun, break action. When the action is open, the forearm is tight, but when closed, the forearm wiggles slightly. Is this normal.
(fore-stock)
Well, its on airsoftatlanta, and then the gas guns, the 2nd one down. I’m thing about getting it ( yea, yea, I know it’s outta stock) but I looked and it doesn’t seem to have sights. Anyone know?
I have a L.C. Smith 12 gauge double barrel shotgun I think made in 1904 from the serial numbers.
What do you think it is worth?
Great shape no cracks in stock.
Where can I find out more information so that I can identify it? It has some scrollwork on the side and the stock has little raised "bumps" as decoration. The top of the barrel says cast stee? be???
It looks to be like I’m in the market for a 20ga semi auto shotgun. Anyone tried a charels daly? How about mossberg? Does anyone make a good semiauto that cheap?
I’ve got an 870supermag marine and a Benelli Nova Pump in 20ga (very unique, had to have it, but I found It sucks (awful barrel alignment, the rib is coming off, the stock recoil pad plastic snapped off). I like the light weight of a 20ga and soft recoil. I recently shot a Remington 20ga and thought it was much more fun than my 2 current shotguns.
I am not new to guns, but new to tactical shotguns. I want to buy a mossberg pump and build it the way I want, but would like to save money by buying a pistol grip with no stock and installing an aftermarket stock later. I want to know if I have to replace the pistol grip when buying a stock for the gun, or will the new stock install onto the existing pistol grip?
I’m looking for a stock that has the pistol grip added to it..know what I mean? Thank-you!
Has brass metal inlaid on the stock with name Roosevelt

They have a listed model with a pistol grip, pistol grip fore-end, no stock, and a 7-shot tube. (The bottom in the picture)
Yet I cannot find any site from which to purchase it.
Can you give me a site or location where I can find it?
I’d rather not have to buy all of the after-market accessories seperately.
specifically i mean a de m58. i can’t seem to open it without breaking the stock.
I have a Remington 870 Express shotgun, and I was just wondering if the stock smooth bore barrel would with a Improved Cylinder choke tube would fire rifled slugs. Besides the Improved Cylinder choke, I also have the stock Modified choke tube.
