can get 100 for at wal mart. i have been using federal and damn! i have to spend about an hour thoroughly cleaning every inch of the inside of my remington 870 synthetic 7 round!
i have heard that winchester is very clean. is this true? if so, and if not, i still want your opinion on which brand is cleaner that you can get in bulk. i usually use about 250 rounds per shooting session for my 12 gauge.

I’ve been shooting for quite some time now, as much of my family grew up around guns. I’m 16, but I’ve bought ammo before at gun shows and such, although that was for my nagant. My brother recently bought me a 20 gauge, but I currently only have pheasant shot for it.
In short, can I go to Wal-Mart and buy slugs, although I’m not 18?
Thanks guys.
I live in Florida.

I am looking to buy my first shotgun and I really like this gun. My local Wal-mart has it for 7 and I have done enough research to know that this is a good deal. My question was what some vets think about this purchase. Positive or negative feedback, I want everything. Any info on another gun is appreciated too. Thank you.

I was looking in this ad for a shotgun and i found this gun. It is as listed above. a turkey model, army camo color, and a 24" barrel. I want to know what a brand new one would cost to see if i’m getting a good price for this one.
I’m sorry you guys keep saying wal-mart. Our walmart dosn’t sell guns anymore.
So that’s not an option for me. I"m just wondering what an average one would cost.

The Mossberg is 145 dollars cheaper and it shoots 3.5" while Remington is 3"
Mossberg=6 capacity
Remington=5 capacity
Mossberg is camo
Remington is not
Mossberg shotgun barrel is 1" longer than Remingtons
Mossberg slug barrel is 7" longer than the remingtons 21"!!!
I like Remington but I dont understand why its more expensive and the gun is’nt as powerful and barrels are shorter and its not even camo. Also less capacity… What do you guys think…I just hope wal mart can order this for me…

I usually mess around with my buds and shoot frisbees with my 12 ga pump sometimes I have to slam fire 2 rounds really quick to hit the target. I figured tough since I have 3 single shots shotguns [12 ga, 16 ga, and .410] I might go to the skeet/trap range and try my luck so what would be the better shotgun to use the 12 has a cylinder choke, the 16 gauge an IC and the .410 has either a full or modified. I was also thinking of buying a pigeon thrower, the Wal-mart has two different machines one for 19.99 and another for 50 something then the have a hand thrower I was thinking of buying one those so all my buds can shoot with out everybody for the use of a range.
your thoughts?

Does anyone out there own a pump action Maverick shotgun made by Mossberg? I bought one alone with 3 choke tubes at a very good price. The gun is a 12 gauge with a black, synthetic forearm and stock. The man I bought it from told me it’s shoots a little to the left, (4-5 inches), which it does. It has a ventilated rib, with 2 beads on the rib. The first bead is alright. The bead on the end of the barrel is defineatly not in the center of the rib. It’s offset to the left a little. I went to Wal Mart and saw that they had 1 just like mine. I looked at it and the bead on the end of the barrel was about a quarter of an inch long and made out of white, irredescent plastic. I’m thinking someone broke the original bead, and installed this little metal tip of the end of my gun. I’ve owned shotguns with irredescent sites before. Can anyone else confirm that they have this type of Mossberg and that the bead on the end of the barrel is made out of irredescent plastic? Thx alot.

Yeah, mine has the small brass pin also. At the end of the barrel, it has a pin just like the brass one, but it’s black. Thx for all the links about Truglo and HIVIZ. I chatted with someone at Cabela’s, and there going to start sending me the catalog again. Thx everybody that answered.

I think my best local options are Bass Pro or Wal-Mart.

Ok, I have been looking for a 12 gauge shotgun for a while. I new Wal-Mart had a mossberg 12 gauge pump action for 0, so i have been saving for it. just recently they got new supply of mossberg Maverick 88′s I’m not sure if its the same gun i saw 3 weeks ago, but its the same price so… I’m looking for a shotgun for protection and target practice, not hunting so much. the maverick is a great gun but has a 28" long barrel! I was looking for something shorter like 18-20" for around the same price and more or less the same gun. also I like the synthetic stock and the blued metal (the whole gun is the same color) but this is not a must. Does anyone have any suggestions on a cheap reliable 12 gauge shotgun? I’ve tried gunbroker.com but either the cheaper ones are 20 gauges or the price I’m looking for are for the tactical/assault kind of shotgun. Thanks

I’ve been looking at 2 different spring airsoft shotguns. One is the Mossberg 500 cruiser grip model from Wal-Mart for .00. It comes with 600 .12g BBs and 600 .20g BBs. The other one is the Smith & Wesson M3000 from Fred Meyer for .00 and comes with 600 .12g BBs. I want to know what is better quality. They both are 355fps and comewith 180 round magazines.
