The Mossberg is 145 dollars cheaper and it shoots 3.5" while Remington is 3"
Mossberg=6 capacity
Remington=5 capacity
Mossberg is camo
Remington is not
Mossberg shotgun barrel is 1" longer than Remingtons
Mossberg slug barrel is 7" longer than the remingtons 21"!!!
I like Remington but I dont understand why its more expensive and the gun is’nt as powerful and barrels are shorter and its not even camo. Also less capacity… What do you guys think…I just hope wal mart can order this for me…

Remington would still be my choice as the best shotgun ever made

Okay, for this one the link works, the other one it doesn’t
THE REMINGTON PACKAGE IS MUCH MORE VALUABLE THAT IS WHY IT COSTS MORE.
THE PICTURE IS WRONG, READ THE DESCRIPTION
There, I was shouting to get through some apparent thick skulls
you are looking at two different combo guns, but they are two very different comb guns.
Let me organize them in a bit of a different way for you.
Both shotguns are turkey hunting guns with an extra barrel.
The mossberg does take 3.5 shells, that is a bonus. However, it’s capacity is 5 for 2.75 shells, I suspect with 3 inch shells the capacity would be the same as the remington, and with 3.5 shells you will be down to 3+1.
The barrel length is nearly identical 23 vs 24. Remember, barrel length affects overall handling characteristics, CHOKE effects how tight the pattern is. Also remember the Mossberg aciton is longer, that makes it 2" longer overall. Shorter gun is more handy, so remington gets points there.
That being said, I’d personally take the 3.5 version for turkey hunting.
Now, lets move onto secondary barrels.
Mossberg Secondary Barrel: Bargin basement smoothbore 28 inch duck/pheasant barrel. While you can shoot slugs through it is NOT a slug barrel. It does not have slug sights and it definately isn’t rifled. Does it come with adjustable chokes? or is just the short barrel adjustable? who knows?
Remington Secondary Barrel: Look at the descripion CANTILEVER SCOPE MOUNT. Now, there is a valuabe addition to the basic barrel, a special attachment to allow you to mount and zero a scope, and then take the barrel off, replace it a year later, and the scope is still zeroed.
FULLY RIFLED BARREL. a very expensive option, use with sabot slugs only for oustanding accuracy. Makes sense to scope such a gun to get the most out of that accuracy, so good thing they have the cantilever mount.
If you want to just buy a 28" barrel from remington, they charge you $175. If you want to buy a fully rifled cantilever scope mount barrel from remington, they charge you $300+
you are comparing apples to oranges.
If you want a deer and turkey gun, you are wasting your money on the mossberg
If you want a turkey and duck gun, you are wasting money on the remington
