Legal in CA? You’re better off moving away from that Nazi state.

legal tactical guns in CA? Really? no way. i thought that Arni did away with that stuff. well i guess that depends on what you call tactical. like the M-16 for example. i would think of a tactical M-16 being semi with a 3 round burst, and/or full auto. it would also have a red dot sight and a flashlight on the picatany rail or have night vision capability. the mags would be hi cap (30 rds+) and hooked together somehow (tape or otherwise) in doubles . i might also like to give it a personal touch with a home paint job.

I suspect you’ll be looking at a sling shot. . ., provided you only launched Nerf balls out of it.

Mattels and cap pistols.

A good long range tactical bolt rifle would be the Savage 10FP Police Precision rifle. A really popular scope for these is the SWFA SS 10×42, or similar. If you’re looking for a semi-auto AR-15, you’ll have to get one with a fixed mag, and reloading is accomplished by taking out the rear takedown pin and pushing a stripper clip in. Not exactly a tactical reload at all. To be honest, I’d wait until Arnie gets out, and hope the next person to come in isn’t willing to abuse the second amendment in order to better his standing with easily influenced voters.

Get an AR-15. They make a CA-legal monstronsity of a stock that eliminates the pistol grip for you. It’s weird looking, but it lets you have a proven weapon in the PRK.

Try a Ruger mini-14. They are awesome. Being that California is gay, this might be the way to go legally. They take standard .223 round and have tons of after market supplies. They are semi automatic, but do not have a pistol grip. You can buy stocks, barrels and magazines that you can get online or try Cabela’s. They are fairly inexpensive and the all the prisons around where I leave use them.
