I am talking about pumpaction or auto loading gun. Senthetic stock not wood stock.

I really think the Remington 870 Wingmaster is a great shotgun but the express is just as good , buy Remington you can’t go wrong

  2. BOBBER

    Try a remington 870

  3. Arkel D

    Get a Remington 870 express.

i shoot a remington 870 express 20. i have killed an a s s load of turkeys with it, shooting a charge of 3 in mag #5′s. a short barrel on it too, out to 50 yards. i have 4 shotguns, and that by far is the best 20 i ever owned

doesn’t get any better than a Remington 870

  7. Not tellin ya

Look at pawn shops to find a shotgun. They sell cheap and sometimes depending on where you live they’ll let ya test shoot um. But why would ya want a 20 when they have 12′s for the same price?

Why not look into a Remington 870 Express Magnum in 12 guage. If recoil is a concern, then used a "reduced recoil/reduced report" loading.

The other solution is an aftermarket absorbing butplate.

The are two reasons I steer you towards a 12 guage.

    1. You wind up with one someday if you dont already have one, thus creating the unlikly but possible scenario of a 12/20 failure. (google it)

    2. You can always put a smaller load in a bigger gun, but not vice versa. Doves and quail will work well with a 20 guage. Turkeys, geese, rabid animal control, or personal safety….. nothing on the earth delivers like a magnum loaded 00 buck or slug from a 12 gauge shotgun.

ITs an extremly versitile gun in an versitle caliber. Scoped and rifled slug barrels aboub, recoil dampeing systems abound, and there are more accessories out there for them than I have useless inlaws.
